Simplify your Concrete Removal with Our Simple 'WET, FOAM, WAIT, WASH' Method. Tackle even the toughest concrete stains and hardened messes with our quick and effective 4-step process: 1. WET - Start by gently spraying the affected concrete surface with water to dampen it. 2. FOAM - Use a foaming sprayer to evenly apply Dissolvacrete directly onto the hardened concrete. 3. WAIT - Give Dissolvacrete ample time to work its magic – allowing it to penetrate and break down the hardened concrete. Allow 20-30 minutes for optimal results. 4. WASH - Once the Dissolvacrete has completed its task, thoroughly wash away the dissolved concrete and the Dissolvacrete using high-pressure water. Repeat if needed. This simple yet effective method ensures effortless concrete cleaning without the hassle of harsh chemicals or intensive scrubbing. #ConcreteRemover #Construction #WetFoamWaitWash #TheWayTheConcreteCrumbles

CURING CONCRETE is a crucial process that ensures the strength, durability, and crack-resistance of freshly placed concrete. Here are some dos and don’ts for effective concrete curing: 1. Moist Curing : Hose down the concrete frequently with water (about five to ten times per day) during the first seven days. This slow evaporation process allows the concrete to gain up to 50% more strength compared to dry curing. However, avoid spraying concrete during cold weather. 2. Covering : If moist curing isn’t feasible, cover the concrete with polyethylene sheeting (at least 4mm thick) or a concrete curing insulating blanket. Wet the concrete thoroughly, cover it, and repeat daily for seven days. 3. Pond Curing : Form temporary berms around the concrete slab and flood the area inside with one foot of water. This method helps maintain moisture levels during hydration. Remember, proper curing significantly impacts the final quality of your concrete. #CuringConcrete #ConstructionManagement #ProjectManagementProfessional #MasterProjectManager

Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) rigid foam insulation is a versatile material that is widely used in various applications in construction industry. 1. Insulation: EPS is used in walls, roofs, and floors to improve thermal performance and energy efficiency. It helps keep buildings warmer in winter and cooler in summer. 2. Concrete Formwork: EPS can be used as a formwork material for concrete. It helps create voids or shapes in concrete structures while being easily removable after the concrete sets. 3. Void Fill: In construction, EPS can be used to fill voids or gaps in foundations or other structures, providing stability and reducing the weight load on the foundation. 4. Lightweight Fill: It can be used as a lightweight fill material in road construction and embankments to reduce the load on underlying structures. EPS's versatility and insulating properties make it a valuable material in modern construction. When you’re facing a concrete repair or renovation project, you want a complete, long-term solution. The pros at Structis know the issues to consider. Non-porous, densified slabs can compromise the performance of adhesives, primers, and moisture mitigation systems. Chemically abated slabs, and those with moisture vapor drive, are subject to contaminants and moisture leaching up to the slab surface. If during the repair process the concrete is improperly treated, the finished flooring can blister, buckle or fail completely — demanding costly, time-intensive rework. The experienced Structis team knows how to avoid common concrete repair problems with two innovative and proven Maxxon® solutions. Both work fast without the need for heavy equipment. For long-lasting results, Structis tackles problematic concrete slabs with: • Maxxon® Commercial Profile —Cleans concrete, increases porosity, and reduces the pH of concrete slab surfaces without shotblasting or grinding. It promotes proper bonding of adhesives, primers, and moisture mitigation systems. • Maxxon® Commercial Isolate — Creates an isolating barrier over concrete slabs to block out destructive, bond-breaking abatement chemical residue, contaminants, and moisture vapor emissions. For concrete repairs without headaches down the line, call Structis for simplified, long-lasting solutions. https://hubs.la/Q02Wdpzd0 info@structis.com 888-232-3987 #concreterepair #concreterenovation #flooringcontractor

Effective Curing of Concrete •Moisture & Temperature control are critical to ensuring efficient curing. •Several options are available to assist in maintaining these at an optimum level •The main methods of keeping the concrete moist and maintaining a favourable temperature 1. Maintain the presence of water – ponding, immersion or spraying with water. These methods offer some cooling through evaporation which is beneficial in hot weather 2. The essential principle is to restrict the loss of heat and humidity from the mix during the critical early stages. This will generally be achieved by placing physical barriers upon the exposed areas of the concrete surface where moisture and heat are most likely to escape 3. Covering the surface with an impervious plastic or paper sheet or a curing membrane allow sufficient heat and humidity to be maintained within the mix #adomast #concrete #curingagents #construction www.adomast.co.uk
