🧐 I discovered a recipe to nurture creativity... This week’s reference group meeting of the Professional Support Center Sweden made me realize that creative solutions can be taken to new heights through diverse perspectives, personal experiences that come from professionals representing different sectors. 🪄 Key Takeaways: 1.We must look for talents in non-traditional places and dare to test new ideas and approaches. Hidden talents can often found through experimentation. 2.It’s crucial to invite current employees into these discussions, understand their unique backgrounds, and recognize that their paths may not be the most traditional, but they bring immense value to the diversity and talent acquisition strategy. 3.Our cities, just as companies are living organisms, are constantly evolving. To stay relevant, we need to break norms, challenge comfort zones, and be open to new recruitment possibilities. 4.Leadership and employees play a vital role in fostering an inclusive culture. By sharing success stories from companies that have made this journey, we inspire others to follow suit. 5.Building trust with employers is essential. Understanding target groups and offering the right support through study visits, storytelling, and follow-ups can make all the difference. This first reference group meeting has opened new doors for us to invite more actors into the conversation. It’s clear that by involving diverse voices, we can further develop our methods and introduce new, important perspectives to our work. Transforming with a diverse team isn’t easy, but the results are worth it! 💡 As we wrap up Q3, our recent Townhall was filled with insights, progress updates, and clear steps forward. It's inspiring to see the passion and commitment across our teams as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible. A big shoutout to Yiannis Kokkinis, Maria Bazarova and everyone for their hard work and dedication—together, we are building a stronger, more agile Ericsson. Here are 3 key tips on navigating the challenges of diversity during transformation, while staying inclusive for a stronger outcome: 1️⃣ Embrace the Differences: Diverse teams bring a wealth of perspectives. While it may slow decision-making at times, these different viewpoints lead to more innovative solutions. 2️⃣ Foster Open Communication: Encourage honest and respectful dialogue. When team members feel heard and valued, they are more likely to contribute their best ideas and collaborate effectively. 3️⃣ Practice Patience & Flexibility: Transformation takes time, especially with a diverse group. Be patient, adapt when needed, and trust the process—stronger results come from navigating diverse opinions with care. By staying inclusive throughout the journey, the final result is always stronger, more creative, and resilient.
