We continuously strive to embody our "We Do More" ethos, not just in words, but through meaningful actions that reflect our commitment to both the environment and our community. The partnership with the NI Children's Hospice and the recent news of losing beds due to lack of funding has inspired us to get creative and ask how can we do more? Introducing the Green Rooms Initiative We're excited to share a new initiative that allows everyone, including our corporate clients and agents to merge sustainability efforts with support for a vital cause. When opting for the Green Room option—skipping daily housekeeping during stays of two nights or more—we will contribute £5 per night to the NI Children's Hospice on behalf of your organisation. This initiative isn't just about donations; it's an opportunity for us to collectively make a significant environmental and social impact. It allows us to track and report back on the contributions made through your corporate stays, providing a clear picture of the positive change made through your stays with us. This is more than a program; it's a chance for us to come together as businesses with a shared vision, making thoughtful choices that not only reduce our environmental footprint but also support those in need within our community. All Green Rooms will be recorded but we can also track individually if you want this for your own records just DM or email me and ill get it assigned to your account. I’m a firm believer that every action, no matter how small, counts towards a greater good. #McKeeverHotels #SustainabilityInAction #CorporateCommunity #TogetherWeDoMore

8moFolks, this is brilliant to see & hopefully other hotels follow suit. It got me to thinking though, you have heatboss room-level control, so you could also offer the guest the opportunity to make an even bigger environmental impact by lowering their room temperatures or, given that the weather is improving, pause their heating completely for the duration of their stay. This can always be overridden, at the touch of a button, if the need arises, but it gives the guest the opportunity to do even more.
