What’s missing at Bridging? BLANKETS, especially the bed sized for twin, full, and queen beds. As client appointment levels rise, so does our need to adequately stock the shelves for shopping. We need 300 bed sized blankets available every week, for a total of 15,000 donated each year! When we say “blanket”, we mean comforters, bed spreads, and blankets. They cover a mattress completely, provide warmth, and support a good night’s sleep! Gently used and new donations are accepted. How can you help during the September Blanket Blitz? Continue to donate from your own home. Tell others in your network and neighborhood that we are in desperate need. Coordinate a blanket collection at work, school, or in your faith community. See Joel or Danyelle about hosting a blanket drive. Reminder: Yes, we accept throw sized blankets! But, we have a healthy supply of those and isn’t our greatest need.

My coworker’s wife just passed away this morning. This was all sudden. He’s been gone for a month from work to be with his wife, after their second child. The boy is almost a month old now. She’s was 36. This will undoubtedly help with life for him. He’s a good dude. If you cannot donate, just share the link. Thank you. 👏🏼🙌🏻

Do you want to help some well deserving children that need your help kicking butt at school this year so they can grow up to help their communities and do great things? (who could say no to that?!!!) School starts on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota in THREE weeks. With an unemployment rate over 80%, many families struggle to provide even the basics. The children, with no control over their circumstances, are the ones who suffer the most. Select things from this amazon wishlist: https://bit.ly/3WHfa0A (shipping address should come up as Robbie White Eyes/Two Bulls). The donations go straight to South Dakota to Ingrid Schneider's contact on the reservation that puts these together for the kids. In addition to selecting things on the list myself- if YOU select something & donate it, comment below. I will donate $5 per person, up to $150 for them to get other materials they need. That's just 30 people to help out. Read more about the Pine Ridge Reservation here: https://lnkd.in/gU6G-XSM

Having assisted Scott and the board with their strategic planning process, I know these resources will be used effectively
We extend a huge thank you to Assistance League of Atlanta, which has recently partnered with 3Keys to donate essential items for our residents. This partnership means that our residents—many of whom arrive with little to nothing more than the clothes they are wearing—will receive welcome kits with new bedding, shower shoes, pots and pans, laundry pods, towels, and much more. Assistance League of Atlanta is also assisting with our activities program by donating supplies that enable us to continue offering meaningful activities for our residents. Partnerships like this are critical in helping us support our residents as they transition from homelessness to stability. #endhomelessness #nonprofitpartnerships

🧡 Spreading Warmth, One Blanket at a Time 🧡 Fall is in the air! As temperatures drop, many of us take warmth and comfort for granted. But for individuals experiencing homelessness, a blanket or sleeping bag can mean the difference between a night of suffering and a night of rest. I’d like to shine a spotlight on an inspiring initiative by the Dorcas Heart non-profit. This incredible organization provides essential blankets and sleeping bags to those in need, offering not only physical warmth but also a message of hope and compassion. Here’s why this effort matters: ✨ Direct Impact: D.HEART works with community volunteers and partners to ensure donations reach those most in need. ✨ Dignity & Care: A blanket isn’t just a piece of fabric – it’s a simple yet powerful symbol of dignity and care. ✨ Community Involvement: Every contribution, whether a donation or volunteer effort, makes a tangible difference. If you're looking to support a cause that creates an immediate impact, consider joining or donating. The current goal is to provide 300 sleeping bags and 300 blankets, at a cost of $25 each, to those in need. Let’s help them continue their mission to bring warmth to those who need it most. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our communities this winter! Website: https://lnkd.in/ezN8kJyp For questions, please connect with Mena Enaohwo Esq., CAMS, CFE.

The Essential Medicine Supply Chain is brittle and too delicate. It breaks more, and stays broken longer, than ever recorded. Some days, it feels like we are just surviving through the next dire drug shortage with duct tape and goodwill. Other days, I worry when the duct tape will run out. Most days, I wonder why it is so hard to ensure that everyone receives treatment. But today, on Thanksgiving, during the IV Fluid Shortage crisis, I want to share how grateful I am for YOU, our supply chain heroes. I’ve witnessed you work through vacations, take the extra call, sacrifice family dinner, overnight-ship the emergency supply, collaborate for the greater good, share with those in need, figure out how to do more with less, fight for one patient, fail, rebuild, recover, and try again. You are the supply chain that fills the hands that save our people. THANK YOU for the work you do for patients! THANK YOU for ensuring supply is IN and working together for ALL patients when it is not IN. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. You save lives. You are the Change! We are grateful! #ALLIN
Happy Thanksgiving from Angels for Change — may your day be filled with family, joy, and the warmth of giving.🧡 Today we are grateful for the incredible community of Change Makers who make our mission possible. Your commitment to the race to end drug shortages saves lives! As we enter the Thanksgiving and Holiday season, please consider supporting Angels for Change as you Giving Tuesday charity. https://lnkd.in/e-FGca9a #GratefulForYou #AngelsForChange #Thanksgiving #GivingTuesday #EndDrugShortagesNow #ALLIN
