🚨We continue to see some pretty startling & unsettling statistics regarding the family system brought forward as a result of the continued fear in our world. 🚨 🛑Did you know that only 22% of youth reported feeling close to their families?! Only 22%?!?! 😳😔 I am saddened to hear that our youth feels so alone & isolated more now than ever. That, what is typically considered their secure base for attachment 🏠, is now wrought with fear, anxiety, despair, & isolation. 😔 At Embark Behavioral Health, we help teens & their families get back to this place of co-regulation & secure attachment. Moving the family system out of dysregulation & really diving into feelings of connectedness with one another. In our developmental research, we have found that mutually beneficial attachment & secure relationships are necessary for a person's emotional, functional, physical & relational health. 🌈☀️🧡 Join my colleagues & me as we continue to tackle this #teenmentalhealth crisis collaborating with one another to heal the next generation. We can’t do it alone, but together we can #breakthestigma, #createjoy, & ultimately #healgenerations. 🧡 I am always available (618-553-9517). 🧡
