The entire Bright Uro team is so incredibly proud to work for a leader like former Marine Raider, Derek Herrera. He defended our great country in Iraq and then Afghanistan, where he served as a Marine Special Operations Team commander when he was injured in 2012. Capt. Herrera's courage and commitment to protect his troops earned him many commendations, including a Purple Heart, a Combat Action Ribbon, and a Bronze Star. General Mark Milley’s security detail has been removed because he conspired against the Commander in Chief between Jan 2017-Jan 2021. Top tip for figuring out how to live your life on civvy street … Write down all the areas of your life that will be affected by leaving the military. It will help you to understand the bigger picture whilst breaking it down into focus points. Is it going to solve all your worries in a oner? Probably not. But it will give you a great base from which you can start to get your head around how you are going to create a life on the outside that works for you! #transitioningMilitary #royalMarines #royalNavy #royalAirForce #britishArmy

22 years ago... - Sergeant Marc Daniel Léger, 29 Lancaster, Ontario - Corporal Ainsworth Dyer, 24 Montreal, Quebec - Private Richard Green, 21 Mill Cove, Nova Scotia - Private Nathan Lloyd Smith, 27, Porters Lake, Nova Scotia Tarnak Farm - known as the friendly fire incident - is the killing, by an American Air National Guard pilot, of four Canadian soldiers and the injury of eight others from the 3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Battle Group (3PPCLIBG) on the night of April 17, 2002, near Kandahar, Afghanistan. Two American F-16 pilots mistakenly engaged when they dropped a 500 pound bomb on them. Alpha Company, of the Third Battalion PPCLI were conducting live fire training at the time I knew Sgt Léger and his wife, Marley, personally. I was proud to stand during his service in Lancaster, Ontario.This incident will always remain a foundational event in my life. Never forgotten.
