Sustainable practices help ensure that poultry farming contributes to reducing hunger without exhausting resources. 🐓. Good Health and Well-being. Sustainable poultry farming focuses on animal welfare and biosecurity, reducing the risk of diseases like avian influenza and ensuring that the food produced is safe and healthy. Additionally, better health practices reduce the need for antibiotics, contributing to human health. 🐓. Clean Water and Sanitation. Managing waste and preventing pollution from poultry farms is essential to protect local water resources. Sustainable practices involve managing manure properly to avoid water contamination and recycling water where possible. 🐓. Decent Work and Economic Growth. Sustainable poultry farming creates jobs and supports livelihoods in rural communities. By adopting eco-friendly technologies and innovative farming methods, it promotes economic growth without harming the environment. 🐓. Responsible Consumption and Production. Implementing sustainable feed sourcing, reducing waste, and improving energy efficiency in poultry farming contribute to responsible production. Efficient resource use ensures long-term productivity and environmental preservation. 🐓. Climate Action. Sustainable poultry farming aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through improved feed efficiency, proper waste management, and energy-efficient practices like solar-powered systems. These actions help mitigate the effects of climate change. 🐓. Life on Land. Poultry farming can have a significant impact on land use. In recent years, the agriculture landscape has faced significant challenges, from corporate acquisitions of vast tracts of farmland to the declining nutritional quality of produce found in grocery stores. Notably, Bill & Melinda Gates Agricultural Innovations (Gates Ag One) has been buying up farmland across the United States, sparking debates about the future of farming and food sovereignty. This consolidation raises concerns about who controls the food supply and the quality of the food that reaches our tables. Introducing QR-limited sustainable solutions for poultry farming—learn how we are making a difference. We would like to tell you that most of the chickens you consume are raised in a cruel way, pumped with lots of antibiotics and growth hormones to boost sales and reduce production costs. They know you want fat and juicy meat, so they inject it with so many growth hormones that you are salivating just by looking at it without considering your health. This is where we at QRLimited come to save the day. We realize the health and environmental issues and Instead of using the normal conventional methods of poultry farming, we engage in sustainable poultry farming, where all of our chickens are raised organically. Here's how we are making a difference. 1). We avoid the use of antibiotics and hormones by choosing healthy, natural feed that we source locally or grow ourselves, unlike the unsustainable method that involves antibiotics. 2) We practice methods such as rotational grazing to prevent excessive land degradation and waste recycling to minimize the negative impact of pollution on the environment. 3) Conventional farming brings a higher risk of antibiotic resistance and contamination, which can affect you in return, whereas our sustainable poultry farming leads to healthier birds with lower chances of disease and contamination because we know a healthier chicken means a healthier you. If you're concerned about your health and the environment, then sustainable poultry farming is your best bet. The good news is that this highly beneficial option is available to everyone, even you! If you'd like to be part of the movement then like, share to spread awareness to your friends/families and visit us at https://lnkd.in/d9sTquK6 to find out more about our poultry products. #poultry #qrlimited #agriculture #health #linkedin

Fish Farming and Community Relationships and Partnerships Fish farming cannot be done without a community; therefore, there is a need for fish farmers to have a strong relationship with the community in which they operate. Both fish farmers and communities have mutual benefits; therefore, 'the right hand washes the left hand, and the left hand washes the right hand.' Fish farming provides benefits to the communities through: - Job Creation: Fish farming provides several job opportunities to local community members, both directly and indirectly, either permanently or temporarily depending on the task in question. - Improved Food Security and Nutrition: Fish serve as a source of protein for many people, so having a fish farm operating in a community makes fish available for the community members, thereby increasing their food security and nutrient levels. - Environmental Stewardship: Especially along coastal areas, fish farming has several environmental effects such as water pollution and land degradation. By engaging with local communities, fish farmers can learn how to improve production while being mindful of the environment, leading to the implementation of modern technologies such as RAS and Automated Feeders. Building Relationships: Both fish farmers and community members must build relationships to enhance togetherness. This can be done by: - Communication: Both sides should be open to communication. The community should be willing to listen to the farmer, and the farmer should also listen to the community so that both parties can address common challenges. - Collaboration and Planning: There should be collaboration between both parties to enhance productivity. - Education and Training: Knowledge is power, so both parties should continue learning. Fish farmers must educate others about practices on the farm to clear misconceptions that may lead to unhealthy or smooth operations in the community. Similarly, if there are dos and don'ts in the community, like taboos, then community members should also be open to the fish farmer's advice.
