Congratulations to the Cool Blue Brand Communications team who led our brand change! They had to contend with: 1. Me, and my enthusiasm - people say passion, but I know I can be too much sometimes. Sorry! 2. The Point North team, who were very good at expressing to Cool Blue who we are, definitely who we are not and do not want to be, and what we want to achieve. 3. The need to find a name that was short, could not be abbreviated and reflected place and our purpose. No one ever got four words in the right order before and so we became an abbreviation. No one ever got that right either! 4. Crazy Michelle time frames - yes, we rebranded and built a new website in three months. I did have my doubts the night before the switch, fearing I was changing nearly 30yrs of history! But feedback has and continues to be so positive. Thank you all for taking the time to feedback. It is appreciated. But don't get me wrong the name, the brand, the website - that is the start and it is not in itself going to bring in more donations. So, as we turn 30 in 2025, there is no time for any life crises. Instead, it is time to bring Point North to the attention of many, to raise more money to meet ever increasing need we see in our communities. Thanks again Cool Blue Brand Communications.
