Why do we wrap things? To protect them. Concrete columns take a beating. Hits from trucks and forklifts scrape, chip, and crack the concrete, leading to costly repairs or replacement. Concrete Wrap shields columns with a layer of impact absorbing material that minimizes damage.

Both asphalt and concrete are known for their durability, each with its unique strengths and weaknesses. Asphalt, being more flexible than concrete, is less likely to crack under heavy loads or extreme temperatures. On the other hand, asphalt is more vulnerable to damage from oil and gasoline spills. Concrete, although less flexible, is more resistant to damage.

You can take many steps to help reduce problems with pumping lightweight concrete. 1. The number one most important thing in pumping lightweight concrete is the aggregate has to be saturated. Lightweight will absorb up to 35% of its weight in water. If the aggregate is not fully saturated it will be impossible to pump. 2. Also the size of the pump and hoses can have an effect. We recommend using around an eight-inch piston pump, once you get larger, it can make pumping more difficult, due to the concrete being reduced to a five-inch line. 3. Use 5" minimum clean steel lines minimize rubber at the end of the line, and avoid reducers. 4. The air content also aids in pumping, the more air the better it will pump we recommend 6% to 7%.
