Organization is everything in event management. During my internship with the Cleveland Browns, I saw firsthand how structure and preparation ensure day to day success. One example? Coordination between departments to deliver seamless fan experiences. A lack of communication could lead to major hiccups, but with a clear plan in place, every piece fits perfectly. "Organization acts as the backbone of event management, aligning logistics, communication, and execution into one cohesive strategy." This principle stuck with me, showing how essential it is for events to run properly! #EventManagement #Football #Organization #InternshipInsights

💫 A Transformative Experience at the Careers in Sports Venue Development Session 💫 On October 25th, I had the privilege of attending the Careers in Sports Venue Development session, part of the Tennessee Titans Sports Venue Real Estate Development Bridge Program, powered by Project Destined. It was an incredible opportunity to learn from industry leaders, including Marla Rye, President of Workforce Essentials, Inc., and @K. @Beth Duffield MA, CPP, Workforce Development Manager at Turner Construction Company. Key Lessons Learned: This session provided me with an invaluable opportunity to ask a crucial question: “If you never had the chance to participate in an internship program, what steps can you take to catch up and get a head start in your field?” The responses I received were insightful, reinforcing the importance of proactive career development. The key takeaway: if you're in this situation, the best course of action is to pursue entry-level internship opportunities, connect with the right people, and manage your expectations as you navigate your career journey. Key Takeaways: A. Discover What You Don’t Want to Do – Understanding what doesn’t align with your goals is just as important as identifying what does. B. The Titans Student Program – This initiative is providing students with hands-on, relevant experience, setting them up for success in a lucrative and impactful career. C. Building Tomorrow’s Workforce – The focus of this program is to nurture and develop the young individuals who will lead our workforce in the years to come. A huge thank you to our sponsors and contributors, including Tennessee Titans, Burke Nihill, Marla Rye, K. @Beth Duffield MA, CPP, Adolpho A. Birch III, Johari Matthews, and Miranda D. (McDonald) Brown, MPA. Special appreciation to Cedric Bobo, Irina Khachatryan, Maxine Manabat, and the entire Project Destined team for their outstanding leadership in delivering such a powerful and impactful program.

During her summer as a public relations and communications intern at American Student Assistance, Fiona Yuan learned that the institution that someone attends does not determine their future. The Boston Latin School graduate writes: “I had the privilege of meeting people from a range of careers in this company, and the diversity in schooling regardless of the career itself encouraged me to think about education outside of the norm that has been taught to me.” Yuan shared four more key takeaways from her internship in a blog post: https://lnkd.in/eW96Ty4b
