My top interview tip: Flip the script. Make it a dialogue. Want to stand out in interviews? Flip the script. Most candidates only prep answers, forgetting interviews should go both ways. And by the end, they often run out of time to ask questions. Here’s how to change that: 1. Ask questions back after answering to make it a real conversation. 2. Show curiosity: It’s not just about “selling” yourself. 3. Be confident: You’re evaluating them, too. So think about your interview as a discovery call. Go in with sharp questions from the start. Don’t wait until the last 5 minutes. What’s your #1 interview tip?

Working with a recruiter means you get to know quite a bit before heading to an interview. Including being able to ask all sorts of questions and get the low down on the site. Keep those answers in your mind and make sure you prep some 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 questions to head into your interview with. Those questions reinforce how you’re seen by the interviewer. Getting that great first impression and showing your dedicated interest to the position. Asking something you should know before attending the interview makes you take a step backwards, not forwards. #Engineering #Recruiting #Interview

It’s a preparation technique that most people avoid, with some even cringing at the thought… The ‘mock’ interview! While it’s common to mentally rehearse answers to potential questions, the real test comes under the pressure of an actual interview, where things can come out all wrong. A great way to prepare involves writing down likely questions and then having a friend or family member do a mock interview with you, really putting you on the spot. The more cringey the better! Mock interviews: ✴ Simulate real interview pressure ✴ Teach you how to recover from a less-than-perfect answer ✴ Enhance your speaking skills and overall performance ✴ Boost your confidence Ultimately, it’s about gaining an edge over the other candidates at interview.
