In my latest YouTube video, I’m diving into how different cultures around the world handle death and grief. From the jazz-filled streets of New Orleans to the peaceful mountain rituals in Tibet, it’s incredible how universal yet varied our experiences with grief can be. I’m sharing stories and traditions from places like Mexico, Ghana, Ireland, Indonesia, and more—each offering a unique take on honoring life, loss, and remembrance. https://lnkd.in/emWFk5DY

So, while I advocate animal rights and understand your compassion ...Here's the dilemma. We now know that plants are actually highly sentient--MORE SO THAN HUMANS. They think, reason, make decisions, can hear, see, taste, and feel at a much stronger more evolved level than humans. They are highly empathic and intuitive, and are altruistic. They also communicate--not only by frequencies that are much higher than we can hear, but by body language--because they have to be able to make themselves understood by EVERY species on the planet--insects, reptiles, birds, animals, fish and humans. Just because they cannot run away and our senses are too dull to understand their communication, does that mean we have the right to eat plants? You see, it is more complicated than you think. We are ALL designed to fit into the ecosystem--simultaneously being both predator and prey. That is how the world stays in balance. After all, in reality, we are all just points of energy and consciousness aggregating for a brief time. Life is an illusion--energy and consciousness cannot be created or destroyed. In reality everything is infinite. That said, we don't have to be thoughtless and cruel in how we treat other life on this planet.
My thought of the day: How can anyone in the right mind Take this Baby’s Precious Life Away ?! Humans always like to think of “punishment” for a bad deed, a “cause and effect”: In what way have these Innocent Souls “harmed” you to “deserve” Torture and Death ? All they want is to Live in Peace ! 🕊️🕊️🕊️ It’s time humanity left these antiquated “practices” behind and moved forward ! 🕊️🕊️🕊️ May we, humans, Never go through Animals’ Pain, Suffering, and Death ! 😞😞😞 Let’s Let Our Conscience Awaken Today: It’s Never Too Late To Embrace Kindness ! 🙏 Peace 🕊️🌿🕊️🌿🕊️🌿🕊️🌿🕊️

This project has been life-changing and life-giving so far. I'm honored learn from and be part of the lives of these beautiful souls! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Legacy Wednesday! Our elders have been the storytellers and wisdom-keepers of humanity since we took our first creature breaths. Legacy often happens by accident, by actions we did not predict would be so impactful, by following our core values, and sometimes, by living a truth when we didn't mean for it to slip out. Revolutions have been started simply because someone was tired and couldn't face another day of BS. When a cultural narrative means that we forget our olders who hold such wisdom and let them live in isolation, we have gone off path. The time is overdue to re-open to the powerful legacy of our cultural storytellers, and to remind them they matter so much, that we need their stories, we need their wisdom. We have a beautiful soul involved in our project who believed she had nothing to contribute and was scared to be seen in photos or talk while in a group, but when she had a conversation one on one, her stories had me spellbound. She is a natural caregiver, she loves fully, music brings her joy, and every item she owns is intentional and has a story tied to it. During our time together so far, she has softened to sharing and will gladly pose for a photo with our team. She is a hugger. The connection is what means the most to her. We are so happy to have her in our little community. We have learned so much from her. The legacies matter. Help us create an ongoing community of connection, meaning, and legacy. throughhumaneyes.ca info@throughhumaneyes.ca #throughhumaneyes #legacy #legacywednesdays #community #connection #communityofcare #compassion #compassionatecare #visibility #storytelling #storytellers #wisdom #elders #weloveourolders #meaning #meaningoflife #love #lovematters #culture #culturalnarrative #impact #livingyourtruth #hugs https://lnkd.in/gFZT76ef
