Now that we're past Labor Day, most of us are winding down the Summer activities. We want to know: when do you pack away your Summer toys? Do you tuck them away at the end of August or do you keep them out well into September? We're talking about pools, jet skis, boats, etc., when do you shut things down? Tell us in the comments!

“The best book is the one you can’t put down. The best exercise is the one you enjoy doing every day. The best health food is the one you find tasty. The best work is the work you’d do for free.” – Naval Ravikant Do you know who you really are? Ever since you were young, you have been conditioned to be one way or another. It may be weird just to spend a day being your spontaneous self, but sometimes it is the only way that you can learn how to be yourself. It’s okay opting for habits that fit with your natural inclinations. Be realistic about yourself and embrace what you can conceivably commit to for the long haul. Unrealistic plans set us up for a spiral of shame and regret when we ultimately fall short of our goal. Make consistency a part of your life and get used to imperfection. By opting for continuous effort towards a realistic aim we create more room for everything we want to do in life. Be yourself! Being yourself does not have to mean that you have to be stuck. Aim for what you want to achieve and strive for that accomplishment. You can improve yourself while still remaining true to yourself, it’s OKAY!

It is not a particularly common thing to leave day-to-day life behind and head off for a 3 month, solitary, silent retreat. Having just done so, many have been asking – Why? How? What happened? And given there does not seem to be much on record from others who have done this, it could be useful to provide some details, so here is the blog link to the first instalment: https://lnkd.in/gs-adEhd
