There are so many things to be thankful for today and every day. Many times, we don't stop to give it much thought. With jobs, homework, housework, running errands, getting kids to activities, and all the other things that fill our days it's hard to remember to stop and reflect, take a look around you, and be truly thankful for the blessings in your life. Everyday write down 1 new thing that you are grateful for. Keep that list by your bed or on the coffee table, wherever is convenient. Take 10 seconds to write 1 new thing a day. In a month, 6 months, a year - stop and read your list. Remember that these are the reasons you get out of bed each day and do all the things that encompass your day. These are the daily reminders that you are blessed.

The holiday we call Thanksgiving is coming up in a few days. The season of thanks is a wonderful opportunity to do something very simple yet very powerful: ~ to give thanks Sound good to you? If you want a couple of "to do" items, here are two that occur to me: 1. What are you thankful for? What gifts have you been given in your life? When is the last time you have said a prayer of thanks? 2. Who are you thankful for? Who has been a gift to you in your life? When is the last time you thanked them? Doing these simple things could help change the world. Give it a try this week. And beyond.

While Thanksgiving is a time to pause and give thanks, it is also a great time to GIVE thanks (as in doing something nice for others)! This Thanksgiving, be sure to stop and think about all you have to be thankful for. And be sure to pass that gratitude on to others through a random act of kindness. 🎁 Everyone is talking about practicing gratitude and appreciation as an essential key to signal the universe that you are deserving of more. 🌟 Here’s the thing: it’s easy to appreciate the things we have. The cozy blanket, the delicious meal, the gifts given and received. And don’t get me wrong—gratitude for those things is important. But what if the real secret isn’t about the things at all? What if it’s about the people? Think about it. The person who held the door open when your hands were full. The barista who made your morning coffee just right. The loved ones who stand by you—even on your worst days. And what about all the unseen heroes who make the holiday season possible? The ones behind the scenes: • Farmers who grew the food for your table. • Factory workers who made the gifts you wrapped. • Truck drivers who delivered them in all kinds of weather. • Retail employees who stocked shelves and smiled through chaos. Or those who gave up time with their families so we could enjoy time with ours—airline staff, law enforcement, military personnel, doctors, nurses, and countless others working tirelessly to serve. How often do they hear a sincere thank you? Appreciation is trendy these days—and that’s a good thing. But let’s not stop at what we have. Let’s make it about who makes it all possible. So here’s my challenge for you: Take a moment today to say it. To the people you see. To the ones you don’t. Imagine all the wonderful unseen things that people have done for you this holiday season, and project them a wave of universal gratitude. A simple “thanks” might just be the best gift you give all season. Who’s someone you can appreciate today? Let them know—and express your gratitude in the comments!

3 simple questions that transformed our family nights—forever. At dinner we go around the table and take turns answering the 3Gs: ➡ Give: How did you help someone today? ➡ Grow: In what ways did you improve over yesterday? ➡ Gratitude: What are you specifically grateful for today? 4 years later, this ritual remains a daily Mamujee practice. I came up with the 3Gs as a way to give my kids a daily compass. My kids have now internalized it. They write about it. Teach their friends. They even strategize what 3Gs they will apply tomorrow, which has been heart warming to see. Our WiFi network is even called “3Gs” for an added reminder when guests stay over. Our nightly practice has turned our dinners into sessions of growth, support, and a real appreciation for one another. It’s also a great way to hold each other accountable. Last week, a close friend gifted us the domain givegrowgratitude dot com. His message? "You should spread this to others." So here I am: Give. Grow. Gratitude. Give it a try. Share it with your family or team. Who will be bold enough to answer one of the 3Gs in the comments today?

A Simple Reminder of Abundance If you have food in the fridge, a roof over your head, clothes to wear, and a safe place to sleep, you’re more fortunate than 75% of the world. 🌍 Here’s some perspective: • 🌱 Nearly 10% of the global population lives on less than $2 a day. • 🍲 Around 9% face chronic hunger. These “basic” things—food, shelter, security—are life essentials many of us rarely stop to think about. But for millions, they’re a daily struggle. Today, let’s pause to appreciate what we already have. Gratitude isn’t just a feel-good sentiment; it’s a powerful way to connect with our own abundance and privilege. What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?

Cheesy post time. Five things to be thankful for at Thanksgiving from a professional standpoint. 1.) Thankful to God above for a good job. Those are never to be taken for granted 2.) Thankful for a good team and good boss (not sucking up, just facts) 3.) Thankful for a supportive family that understands sometimes extra hours and weekends are necessary 4.) Thankful for the chance to be creative, pitch ideas (some good, some incredibly not so much), and try different approaches 5.) Thankful to be part of a Firm that understand family is important with things like paternity leave, holiday parties for kids, trunk or treats, sponsoring events that encourages families to show up, and more.

The time to give thanks should be every day, not just on Thanksgiving. How can you harness the power of gratitude? Try a gratitude journal -- take 5 minutes each day to reflect on what it is that you're grateful for. Let me know in the comments what you are grateful for today! https://lnkd.in/eD3gPrKE #ICG #InspireConfidence #SimplifyLife #ReduceStress #WealthPreservation #InspireConfidenceGroup #AmeripriseFinancial
