Note: The original Chinese text, here translated into English. IESE Business School has been ranked among the top ten business schools globally by Bloomberg, even surpassing Harvard Business School. (09292024) Bloomberg Businessweek assigned an overall index score to each MBA program, enabling a truly global ranking based on these scores. When ranking schools globally based on index scores, four European institutions claim the top ten spots: IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland; 𝐈𝐄𝐒𝐄 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐚, 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧; SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy; and London Business School in the UK. These schools outrank Harvard Business School, with IMD even surpassing Kellogg, Wharton, MIT Sloan, and Dartmouth Tuck.

Recently, I had the honor of completing a strategy training course at the prestigious Harvard Business School Online. This experience was transformative, providing me with a deep and comprehensive understanding of the most advanced theories and practices in business strategy. I immersed myself in realistic case studies and developed critical skills to analyze and formulate effective strategies. This learning not only expanded my theoretical knowledge but also enhanced my practical abilities, allowing me to approach business challenges with a renewed and strategic perspective. The importance of continuous learning cannot be underestimated, especially in the dynamic field of business. In an ever-changing environment where new technologies and business models rapidly emerge, staying updated is crucial. Continuous education allows professionals to adapt to new trends, seize emerging opportunities, and avoid potential risks. In conclusion, I am very happy with this achievement! Dionatan Severo, thank you for the tip! It is indeed an excellent course. #lifelonglearning #strategy #harvardbusinessschool

Harvard, Yale, and other prestigious schools offer exceptional business courses. But it isn’t the business courses that give you innovative skills. No offense intended. They have exceptional business schools. But if everyone applies the same lessons... Where's the differentiation? That's why I gravitate to the uncommon. The last course I took at Harvard was 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘟: 𝘓𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘓𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦. "𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘥𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘦𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦, 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘯𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢 𝘎𝘗𝘚 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘢𝘭." What does that have to do with growing innovative companies? Well... • The process of creating reliable navigation • Creating commercial, economic, and military success • Refining the accuracy of multiple variables • And a dozen more insights... In general terms, I translated the principles of physical navigation for business growth. I use the business equivalents of position, direction, speed, and time to know where I am, where I can go, and how to arrive before others. I translated the lessons using these Peripheral Thinking™ skills: 1. Interpreting 2. Predicting 3. Drilling 4. Sifting Recently, I shared the 'Interpreting' skill with 50 young leaders during a 60-minute keynote. Following the keynote, four leaders compared notes. Two weeks later, I received a call stating that their collaboration resulted in a new strategy and a $15M contract. What is a non-business-related principle you've applied to grow your business? When you're ready to find innovative insights from nearly any experience I'm ready to help. DM ME! Until next time... I'll be looking for you in the periphery. _____ I'm Paul. I help leaders apply new perspectives to build innovative businesses that last. 40+ years. 31 industries. 27 countries. 23K people. >$2.5B. 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗠𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: https://lnkd.in/g_pERCUQ. Recently, I read The Future of Business Schools book by Rico Baldegger Ayman El Tarabishy David Audretsch Dafna Kariv Katia Passerini Wee Liang Tan, Prof., and I was struck by how closely it aligns with my own thoughts on the evolving role of business education. Here are a few key insights that truly resonate with me: 1️⃣ Business schools must focus on enhancing future businesses’ social, environmental, and economic impact. The way students are trained directly influences how they’ll lead organizations and shape the global business landscape. 2️⃣ Leadership matters. Business schools should be led by experts with strong managerial skills. Promoting professors without real managerial experience can be risky. If leadership is merely symbolic and research remains their top priority, the system risks collapsing. 3️⃣ The way we teach students to solve problems needs a shift. Currently students are taught to decompose a problem and find association between issue’s components. Students are also taught to build empirical models based on a set of observations and infer something about phenomena based on the results. However, if the problems are unique and the uncertainty is high (which is the case in the modern world), this approach is irrelevant to find solutions - we should look for a better one. 4️⃣ Global problems require global solutions. Business education should be the tool to overcome geographical and political barriers and solve global problems using international perspective. Education should also become less costly so that a wider population could get access to it and contribute to solving the problems. 5️⃣ Finally, business schools could become hubs to conduct experiments that couldn’t be conducted in the real world e.g. seeing the effect of a singular patent on climate change. This is why more emphasis on computational MBA programs is crucial. So, indeed, it’s time to rethink the business education, and I’m excited to see the shift toward impactful, purposeful learning rather than just solving traditional business cases.

I always wondered about why this Conscious capitalism simulation makes a lot of sense. I found the answer.
