Product spotlight: Integrel Solutions’ E-Power 9 SE Designed for single engine monohull application, Integrel E-Power is a high efficiency, high-output, large-frame alternator. It is fitted to the front of an existing inboard diesel engine and collects the spare power generated to deliver up to 9kW (or 18kW in a dual system) of energy. CASE STUDY Variable-speed technology integrated with proprietary electronic control shows more than 13% energy savings At ATMO 2024, Embraco and Novum presented the results of a case study on replacing a high-efficiency fixed-speed compressor with a variable-speed model, using natural refrigerant R290 and the Embraco Sync controller parameterized by the development interface YouControl. The tests showed an energy saving of more than 13%, which means a reduction of 0,51 kWh/24h. Considering a reductive number of 10.000 cabinets installed annually, this leads to more than 344k € saved in energy and 423 tonnes of CO2 not emitted.
