This is Mr Brown - #Bruneian favourite drink.
In a regular shop, it costs BND 1.00
In a café, it costs BND 2.00
In a hotel, it costs BND 2.50
Its the same coffee - just different locations—yet the value changes.
So, whenever you feel down and unappreciated. Put your chin up and change your place as you will be value more in other places.
My context is on #Bruneian talent, WE #bruneian are one of the most talented people and yet undervalue in our own boundaries. My advise is to explore beyond boundaries & learn to take risk.
Anyone has a different analogy on this or different view?
Note: everyone has their own views and opinion on this matter. Happy to hear different prespective.
P/ S : i like the sugar free Mr. brown & the value of Mr. brown in Qatar is 1.50 Bnd by the way 😃

Embracing the culture and camaraderie in Saudi Arabia can be a deeply enriching experience. Saudi culture is shaped by traditions, a strong sense of community, and a deep-rooted respect for hospitality, making it a unique place to build connections and experience cultural unity.
Key Aspects of Saudi Culture and Camaraderie:
1. Hospitality (كرم الضيافة)
Hospitality is a cornerstone of Saudi society. Whether you're visiting someone's home or interacting with locals, you'll likely experience warm welcomes and generosity. Coffee (Qahwa) and dates are often served as a sign of hospitality, and accepting them is a gesture of respect.
2. Respect for Tradition
Saudi Arabia is rich in traditions and customs, many of which are linked to Islam and Bedouin heritage. Adapting to local customs, such as greeting with "As-Salamu Alaikum" (peace be upon you) and understanding modest dress codes, shows respect for the culture.
3. Shared Meals and Gatherings
Food plays a central role in Saudi camaraderie. Traditional Saudi meals, often shared on large platters, bring people together. Dishes like Kabsa (spiced rice with meat) and other local favorites are often enjoyed in a communal setting, fostering a sense of togetherness.
4. Family and Community
Saudis are known for their strong family ties and sense of community. Socializing with extended family and close friends is a big part of daily life. Being part of these gatherings helps to build strong, lasting relationships.
5. Religious and Cultural Respect
Religion plays a key role in Saudi life, with Islamic practices guiding many aspects of daily routines. Joining in celebrations such as Eid or observing the significance of Friday prayers (Jumu'ah) helps connect with the cultural and spiritual fabric of the country.
6. Language and Communication
While many Saudis speak English, learning some basic Arabic phrases is greatly appreciated and can deepen bonds with locals. Using common phrases like "Shukran" (thank you) or "Inshallah" (God willing) demonstrates an effort to connect with the culture.
7. Celebrating National Events
Participating in national holidays, such as Saudi National Day (September 23), is a great way to experience Saudi pride and camaraderie. These celebrations highlight the country’s unity, history, and future ambitions.
8. Shared Activities
Sports, especially football, are major aspects of camaraderie in Saudi Arabia. Whether watching a match with locals or joining a game, sports can create bonds across different backgrounds.

In a proactive move to safeguard the well-being of Hajj pilgrims, Saudi Arabia's Roads General Authority has implemented a project to cover the asphalt around Arafat's Namira Mosque with a white coating. This innovative measure aims to mitigate the impact of scorching heat on pilgrims, ensuring their comfort and safety during this sacred journey. By reducing surface temperatures, the white coating provides pilgrims with a cooler environment to perform their religious rituals with ease. Saudi Arabia's commitment to enhancing pilgrimage experiences underscores its dedication to serving the needs of Hajj participants and preserving the sanctity of this significant event.

An Unforgettable Journey: Behind the Scenes of Our Hajj Services
The Hajj pilgrimage is one of the most significant spiritual journeys in the world, and it’s an honor to be part of a business that plays a role in this sacred experience. As Saudi Arabia once eloquently put it, the Hajj business is about transforming an idea into a lasting memory.
What sets the Hajj business apart is its unique scale and complexity. Unlike other businesses, it’s a once-a-year event that requires a minimum of two months of intense preparation. The challenge is even greater because most of our workforce comprises temporary or part-time employees, with many taking vacations from their regular jobs to serve the pilgrims.
The logistical challenges in Arafa and Mina are immense. We are constrained by space, electricity, equipment, storage, transportation, and supply chain limitations—all within a very tight timeframe. The person leading a Hajj operation must be a jack of all trades, mastering disciplines from marketing, public relations, and negotiation to logistics, crowd management, and quality assurance.
I feel incredibly fortunate to be involved in this business. It’s more than just work; it’s a mission to ensure that every pilgrim has a safe and meaningful journey. The intricacies of this business are beyond what I can describe in a single post, but I’m eager to share more insights as we continue this remarkable journey.
