Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC’s Post

Buckingham is proud to support the next generation of business professionals! A special thanks to College of Business - The University of Akron for their partnership and to our attorneys and UA alumni, Steven Dimengo and Richard Fry for their leadership in making these conferences possible.

The University of Akron College of Business George W. Daverio School of Accountancy and Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC have co-hosted impactful tax conferences with education sessions for years, benefiting students and the professional community. The conferences provide continuing legal and accounting education (CPE/CLE) credit. This year, BDB generously awarded a check of $10,619.91 from the 12th annual State and Local Tax (SALT) Conference proceeds to support student scholarships and programs!   Instrumental in the support and success of these conferences are planning committee members, University of Akron alumni and MTax instructors, Steven Dimengo and Richard Fry, pictured here with The University of Akron President R.J. Nemer, Associate Dean of Academics, Debmalya Mukherjee, PhD, and School of Accountancy Director, Jules Jones. Dimengo is a triple alumnus (BS, JD and MTax) and a nationally recognized expert in the field of state and local taxation, and Fry is a double alumnus of UA (JD and MTax) and currently teaches State and Local Taxation in the MTax program. Their leadership and commitment is a testament to our active alumni network who consistently supports and provides opportunities to our students. #UAkronBusiness #ExperienceBusiness #UAkron #GoZips #AccountingEducation #Taxation #ForeverAZip University of Akron Alumni Association
