📣 Speaker Update No.2 #Müta24 taking place in #Salzburg ❗ What kind of challenges do the bakers, the most relevant customer group for grain millers, have to deal with? Michael Kleinert who teaches at the ZHAW Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften in Wädenswil is head of the Institute for Food and Beverage Innovation and President of the Association of the Swiss Bakery Industry. Michael Kleinert will provide the conference audience with exciting insights into the recipes which bakeries are using today in order to be fit for the future. The successful market positioning of a bakery will be introduced, among other things, in the area of the conflict between new nutritional trends and increased quality but also process requirements and standards. Not only the bakers are relevant customer for grain miller but also the feed milling industry is relevant. Paul Steiner who is Chairman of the Board of Directors at UFA AG and Reto Mösch who is responsible Head of the Production Department at UFA AG, will provide an outlook on how the Swiss animal feed market is developing and how market players are positioning themselves to successfully master the challenges ahead. In a demanding market enviroment there are also numerous oppurtunities to succeed in future, however, in the end it is the consumer who decides what ends up on the plate and therefore also the development of Swissness, labels and organic, which also has an impact on animal feed.
