Decision-making can be hard, especially if we are second-guessing ourselves and wondering if we are making the right decision. Taking a photo to document something you are donating or giving away can be helpful. I do this all the time. Knowing that you probably won't miss the item may help. There have only been a couple of times that I have wondered where something went, but it wasn't a problem. Did I just get out the wrong side of bed this morning, or is tipping culture getting out of control?! Making a donation via JustGiving and it defaults to adding a 17% tip WTF? What am I tipping for anyway? This "tip" isn't going to the charity - surely it's just going to the profits of the platform? If you don't want to leave a tip, they make you jump through hoops: 1) Move the slider all the way to the left? Nope, that just reduces the tip to 10%. 2) Click "enter custom amount"? Nope, that just reduces it to £1.50. 3) To actually just donate the amount you wanted to donate in the first place, you need to then override the £1.50 to £nil. I do understand it costs money to run these platforms but this seems to me a case of taking the p***

To my nonprofits, how are you engaging your donors? 1. Do you send weekly, monthly, or quarterly updates about how their donation dollars have been put to work? Or even an annual impact report? 2. Do you offer ways for them to get involved? 3. Do you have events to celebrate their contributions? These are just a few ways you can keep your donors engaged and wanting to pour more into your organization. And remember, donations don't have to just be monetary. We have now raised over $2,000 by just giving away 30 minute consultations for a donation 🤯 Without even putting any promo behind it. Our goal next year is going to be doing $50,000 in donations by giving consultations away! This is going to become a staple that I share because it is SO easy for anybody to create. → Just set up a calendar link, set a price, and donate 100% of the money from it and use it to consult people who might want to learn about your skills.
