A series of new thoughtfully designed and fully furnished workspaces are now available on Level 3 of 221 London – a 1968 modernist building in Canberra’s City East adapted for present-day work. Workspaces are private and secure with access to common spaces that include a boardroom, meeting room, kitchen and breakout spaces, call rooms and a relaxation room. Spaces are fully equipped and ready for businesses to move in with no further capital outlay required. All workspaces have large windows and include Schiavello sit-stand desks and Steelcase task chairs. Interior features include polished concrete floors in common spaces, Indigenous designed Water Yuludarla designed carpets in offices and wool carpet in call and relaxation rooms rooms, and a selection of vintage furniture for charm and character. Interiors were developed in collaboration with Nina Exarhos at NWE. Interior Design. These workspaces follow the success of Level 7, which has populated the building with a thriving community of consulting firms, creative industries, knowledge-based organisations and nonprofits. The workspaces are located in 221 London – a 12-storey commercial building with views of Lake Burley Griffin and Canberra city. This modernist gem was originally constructed in 1968 as Electricity House and has been refurbished throughout its life. A new multi-storey car park is currently underway on the block providing an additional 280 car parks (available from March 2025). Project: Interior Office Renovation Architect: Muhammad Ataul Gani One of my interior projects that I successfully designed, supervised, and implemented in 2020. Shakil Rizvi Stock Ltd stands out as one of the largest broker houses within the stock exchange landscape of Bangladesh. Their 1000 square feet office space is exclusively dedicated to serving foreign delegates. The office boasts a grand reception area with a spacious waiting area, creating an impression of expansiveness beyond its actual size. To achieve a modern and sophisticated ambiance, imported interior materials from China were utilized. A distinguishing feature of the interior design is the use of wooden PVC flooring, strategically implemented to accentuate the importance of individual areas within the office. A centrally located lobby serves as the focal point, seamlessly connecting all spaces within the office. Energy efficiency is prioritized through the use of sensor lighting, which not only contributes to reducing energy consumption but also offers flexibility in ambiance by adjusting colors according to client preferences. #Interiordesign #officeinterior #Moderninterior
