I come across alot of leaders, entrepreneurs, founders and business owners who often want everything to be perfect with a product or service. Great as an ideal, practically improbable. Not every great brand started without a misstep along the way. That is why for every brand we build, my team and I have 2 modes. Mode 1: Bootstrap Mode 2: Utopia Mode 1: Get Shit Done. Shoestring budget. Mode 2: Build Utopia: The crystal palace. Two reasons why companies and business don't scale to their potential. At a particular point, they never leave Mode 1. Yesterday, we held an event co-organized with the TDJ family office on the topic: “From CEO to Entrepreneur. Creating My Own Company with a Financial Partner: The Case of Leszek Kłosiński (Miya)” The event was attended by 20 CEOs, both entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. Leszek shared his story with great authenticity and without any “make-up” 😊 We gained many insights, such as: 👏 Entrepreneurs might not be born with 100% self-confidence. Sometimes the encouragement of a trusted mentor can help them leap into entrepreneurship. 💡 It is good to realize your dream – but not completely – to leave space for another dream. 🔔 A first-time entrepreneur has a higher chance of success when founding or taking over a company in the market they know best. A second-time entrepreneur can rely on their entrepreneurial experience to start a venture in any market. 📈 The less you talk about operational results with your financial partner, the more time you have to build or take over. It needs mutual trust, which in turn is the best path to financial success. This was a great event format that we will certainly repeat.
