Just a kind friend of mine, tried to cheer me up at my difficult days… by taking some great snaps.. On a serious note, do you know what is the dumbest thing to do? Getting influenced by someone’s opinion and behaving the same way they want you to. Understand the difference between fact and opinion. Dont decide things on others opinion; develop critical thinking capacity.

Leverage ⚖️ I get to. I choose to. I want to. I have to. I need to. Be it financial, your skills or experience, your network, even your mindset, the level of leverage you can exert will be directly correlated to the most valuable and viable option above. Personally, I know I’d rather get to or want to versus have or need to. Me and a great friend and former colleague of mine agreed on almost everything, except for one little notion, that we are just cogs in a big machine. I kindly, politely and laughingly disagreed with him and it became a running joke between the two of us. We have way more control thank we give ourselves credit. Especially on how we choose to respond to situations. That control is derived from the leverage we can exert. Tip the scales in your favor. Accumulate leverage.

One DM could land you a 5-figure deal. No flashy proposal. No perfect timing. Just one honest message to the right person. Those first time DMs of mine turned into: A $2,500 deal that gave me my first big win. A speaking opportunity that grew my authority. A 5-figure opportunity that changed my business forever. But it wasn’t just about that one message. It was about believing in myself enough to reach out. It was about knowing my worth and being willing to show it. It was about starting conversations without overthinking the outcome. Too often, we hold back. We tell ourselves we’re not ready. We assume no one will respond. But here’s the truth: The opportunities you’re waiting for? They’re waiting for you. Your next client, deal, or breakthrough is one DM away. Be bold. Be clear. Start the conversation.

Most of us have had the experience of presenting to a client or prospect and hearing the decision-maker say, “Wow, that sounds great! It looks like it’s exactly what we need.” > At this point our hearts start soaring and you feel like a star🤩 An obvious follow-up response from the client after giving you those hopes often is. “Why don’t you put together a proposal for us and we’ll take a look?” >That sound you hear is your dashed hopes crashing to the floor. Why do you think customers ask for proposals when the recommendations you have made in person make sense and it is what they need specifically to address their challenges? ------------------------------------ Would love to hear your ideas and opinions on this in the comment section below as I will be sharing mine as well.

The amount of expertise you can grow with a year of highly focused effort on a niche topic will impress you. If you feel like you're covering a lot of things and not progressing, switch it up. Pick one niche thing and own it at every opportunity and watch how your odds change. Aim small, miss small.

Dedicated to my daughter and other people: My daughter, who is in the ninth grade, worries about an upcoming business presentation that she won't have the courage to speak in front of her class. I explained the following quote about how having poor self-esteem can keep us from taking advantage of our possibilities in life. "RIP (Rest In Peace) to the opportunities we miss because of our shyness and low self-esteem." So, to my daughter and everyone else: -> Believe in yourself.  -> Don't let low self-esteem control your destiny. -> The world is full of opportunities waiting for you to grab them. Does your ‘WHY’ Suck? Mine did🤦🏽♂️ Why do we start doing anything? What is the reason for doing? Is it strong enough to accomplish the goal? Or is it a half baked concept? Well, it all depends. Once you set your mind to do anything the next logical thought is actions 🤔. The strength of your ‘why’ is an internal concept but the adoption of it should invoke a nudge to move. As a creative individual, I can not tell you how many projects I’ve started and stopped because of a lack of motivation. My problem was a common one,.. the why was lackluster, subpar.. a.k.a not good enough to push me to the finish line. 🥴 This is why we give up quickly, switch positions at a drop of a dime and don’t complete what we set out to achieve. The reason for your ‘why’ has to be so strong that you decide to overcome opposition before it happens, tired becomes an excuse and educate becomes a bedfellow. Your ‘why’ should put a stronghold in you to Finish! Prioritize your ‘why’ at all cost and most of all, do the work required to produce the results the ‘why’ demands.

Recently, I was asked what I consider my most valuable asset, my standout characteristic, and my unique role on a team. My answer: I’m enthusiastic—sometimes to a fault. I bring a contagious energy that draws others in, engaging fully and without hesitation. And sometimes it scares people and turns them away. But here’s something I’ve learned: our strengths can quickly become weaknesses if we start apologizing for them. This is a fundamental truth. When we downplay our strengths, talents, and value; we diminish what makes us unique. So if you find yourself apologizing for what makes you strong, stop. Embrace it unapologetically, and let it fuel your success.
