Where is your vessel headed this winter? As we start to think about heading to the tropics this winter, here's an "oldie but goodie": Webinar: Accessing Exclusive Destinations Forward Looking Sonar for Yacht Managers Sure, the title says this is for #yachtManagers, but the content in this webinar is equally relevant for #expeditionCruiseShip operators, #researchVessels, #USV, and #surveyVessels. "Exclusivity" means something different for everyone. From a navigation point of view, once you've left the main shipping channel, you're likely in poorly mapped waters. Leave a comment about what "exclusivity" means to you and your vessel. By the way, if you're using the latest FarSounder software, you'll be building a map of everywhere you go and you can anonymously share that map across the fleet. In return, you'll get access to the agregate map from everyone else's observations and we can contribute to Seabed 2030 anonynously on your behalf. https://lnkd.in/et3jHAYY #saveNavigation #3dForwardLookingSonar #hydrospatial

The Superyacht Captains Forum Day 1 Programme Highlight in partnership with Yare Networking… The inaugural session of YARE Networking commences with a keynote presentation examining “State of the Market” delivered by Martin H. Redmayne, Chairman of The Superyacht Group at 09:30-10:15. Following the keynote address, the keynote YARE Debate will look to discover the following question ‘How can we future-proof the existing fleet?’ at 10:15-11:30. This panel discussion and debate will explore the key opportunities to upgrade and future-proof the vast network of yachts that still operate with conventional diesel engines and fuel, combined with energy consumption and systems that can be improved to make a significant reduction of our fleet’s impact. The final keynote YARE debate of day 1 will look to answer the question around ‘What is the future of Mediterranean yachting?’ at 12:00-13:00. A panel of experts in the world of infrastructure, marinas and cruising regions of the East and West Mediterranean will discuss and debate how the market is changing and what impact the new cruising grounds and strategies outside of the Med will have on the industry.
