☘ Eddy Current Sorting Technology: Aluminum and Plastic Separation Equipment 🎗 Working Principles: When materials pass through eddy current sorting equipment, metals and non-metals are affected differently due to their distinct conductivities. Metals, such as aluminum, generate eddy currents in the electromagnetic field due to their good conductivity, experiencing strong repulsive forces and thus effectively separating them. Applications: ✔ Scrap Metal Recycling: Eddy current sorting equipment is widely used in the scrap metal recycling industry, particularly excelling in the separation of aluminum products. Through this technology, scrap aluminum can be effectively separated. ✔ Plastic Recycling: ✔ Resource Recycling Facilities: Conclusion: Eddy current sorting technology, as an innovative waste management technique, brings new vitality to the resource recycling industry. Its sorting principle based on eddy currents makes the separation of metals and non-metals more efficient and precise. #aluminum #recycling #waste #UBC #scrap #metal #eddycurrentseparator #glass #WasteRecycling #MetalRecycling #CircularEconomy #Sustainability

Ever wondered how metals are recovered from e-waste? It involves several steps: 1. Collection & Sorting: E-waste is gathered and sorted. 2. Dismantling & Shredding: Devices are broken down and shredded. 3. Separation Techniques: Metals are separated using methods like eddy currents and air separation. 4. Chemical & Thermal Processes: Leaching, electrowinning, and smelting purify the metals. 5. Reintegration: Purified metals are ready for reuse in new products. By recycling e-waste, we can recover valuable materials and support a sustainable future! #ewaste #ewasterecycling #metalrecovery #process #environmentprotection #reuse

Here at All American Recycling, we take Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals. What’s the difference you ask? Ferrous scrap metal is made up of iron and is magnetic. Ferrous metal items include steel beams, cast iron, pipes, and most appliances. Non-ferrous scrap metal, on the other hand, does not contain any iron and is non-magnetic. Examples of non-ferrous scrap metal include aluminum cans, copper wiring, and brass fixtures. Did you know that Seco introduced Trigon shaped inserts for turning applications way back in 1986? And that a W06 turning insert needs 63% less cemented carbide per effective mm cutting edge, compared to the traditional C12 insert without compromising performance! Minimizing the use of cemented carbide in the first place is one step up on the sustainability scale than recycling it after usage. Are you using Trigon inserts in your turning applications? Let's work together towards a more sustainable future! #turningapplications #sustainability #engineering.
