According to NCSC Assessment (NCSC-A) insights, AI will create a conducive environment for cybercriminals to launch cyber attacks in the coming years. As a matter of fact, novice and skilled bad actors are already using the technology to create and launch attacks effectively and efficiently. One of the things that makes AI a great tool for threat actors is that it enables social engineering. In addition, attacks via the technology are harder to detect! It will be crucial for security experts to find ways for organisations to enjoy AI opportunities while ensuring their systems and data are safe, going forward. As there is no digital transformation without security transformation similarly there won't be an AI innovation without secure and govern integration ! Expanding the reach as I had been vocal and concern as Cyber won't be a business for adding more security solutions powered by AI - It won't be enough expert startups capitalising this frame but that won't be enough for the organisations.. Time has come to look at AI in everything and everywhere, which means impact of AI on Cyber or how cyber can do good or bad to safeguard AI will be the decade move for every company on the planet to witness soon.. Haven't seen a great strategy or solutions which are integrating AI , security and governance to regulate as well as defend the unknown threats from GenAI for organisations to continue innovate and adopt the use cases of AI without fear of cyber incidents ! Great session coming up , keen to learn the outcomes.. from the leaders and I am curious 😊 Yana Martens Natasha Passley Richard Magalad CISM MACS Cyber Mina Zaki
