Cape Town in South Africa is one of those exciting and surprising cities where expats feel at home, despite some challenges. It is interesting to listen to direct experiences. Let’s summarise it: Cape Town is in Africa and it’s blessed with natural beauty, mountains, beaches outdoor activities, pleasant climate. It has a cultural diversity and history with influences from many origins, reflecting the diversity of the country itself. It has a vibrant nightlife too. The challenges: security wise anyone needs to be aware of the high crime rate, although lower than many other SA cities. Rents are expensive but really the landscape and the life there is worth the price. And if you are a digital nomad, this is one of those cities where you will find a good network of people similar to you, start ups and ideas-filled meet ups and social events. Adding all this most expats think that, despite challenges, Cape Town is one of the best places to be a digital nomad and live there. #MovingToSouthAfrica #CapeTownVlog #LivingInCapeTown #ExpatLife #LifeInSouthAfrica #AmericanExpat#CapeTownLife #LivingAbroad #SouthAfricaTravel #relocated https://lnkd.in/d4Nw663t 🌿 Learn a lot about www.4IRGPT.com: Do you have any knowledge of value for trade? I am Proudly South African! 🇿🇦 This is an excellent video demonstrating how amazing South Africa is. However, the questions Trevor received were quite scary. It made me wonder what questions and assumptions overseas businesses have about outsourcing work to SA? I would love to hear any questions you have or have received. For those feeling to shy please DM me 📧 Some that I had encountered: 1. Loadshedding is not a thing. We are set to deal with electrical interruptions 2. Yes we have fast WiFi and are extremely well connected 3. We are known as hard workers but please add smart workers to this ;) #TheLekkerNetwork Civitas Network Entrepreneurs' Organization #ResearchMode #GlobalOutsourcing #PerformanceMarketing

Traveling around Africa should be easy, like visiting a neighbor. But it's not always that simple. While many countries in Africa welcome visitors from other places with open arms, getting around our own continent can be tough. We face barriers when we try to visit nearby countries, do business across borders, or just connect with other Africans. It's strange because we're friendly to people from outside Africa, giving them visas easily. But they don't always do the same for us. This one-sided deal holds us back. It stops us from working together and growing our economies in Africa. It's like Africa is divided, and that's not good for any of us. Think about what could happen if we could travel freely within Africa, without all the paperwork and rules. We could learn from each other, do more business together, and make our regions stronger. We need to change things. Let's push for easier travel in Africa so we can all benefit from what our continent has to offer. 💪
