It is a delight and an honour to be invited to attend the Luxury Tribe event scheduled to take place at the Imperial New Delhi from 11th - 14th March 2024. I also attend their first offline event that was held at the Leela Palace Jaipur last year in March, which was an enriching experience. Hats off to Sheetal Rastogi for having established, in such a short period, the Luxury Tribe as by far India's first true outbound luxury travel event. Besides the scheduled meetings and the networking sessions, the illume conference provides for unparalleled insights into the World of luxury travel & not to mention the educational sessions which provide for excellent learning. According to a report by Coherent Market Insights, a consultancy, the global luxury travel market was valued at USD 241 billion in 2022 and it is expected to grow at a fast clip of 7.8 pc CAGR to over USD 440 billion by the end of this decade. The report says that this growth would in part come from the expansion of the market in emerging economies like INDIA, where there has been a significant rise in disposable income and as a result, the demand for luxury travel is increasing, which in turn is expected to boost growth of the global market. #luxurytribe #experientialtravel #bespokeserenity #luxurytravel #sereneexperiences #travel #hotels #dmc

The Future of Hospitality: What’s NEXT? Delighted to have been part of the "What's NEXT in Hospitality" at the ULI (Urban Land Institute) evening hosted at Sofitel Mumbai! The atmosphere was buzzing with insight and innovation—exactly what you'd expect when someone like Rahul Pandit, President & Executive Director - Hospitality, @Valor Estate, is behind the scenes curating the event. Held in an intimate, elite drawing room setup, personally overseen by Manish Dayya, General Manager, Sofitel Mumbai BKC, it was a evening to remember. The panel lineup? Nothing short of exceptional! Anshu Sarin, Chief Executive, 91Springboard; Kahraman Yigit, Co-Founder & CEO, Olive Living; and Tejas Parulekar, Founder, SaffronStays were on point, with the conversation brilliantly guided by Jaideep Dang , Managing Director, Hotels & Hospitality, India JLL . So, what's NEXT? Rahul Pandit gave us a glimpse into the future: "India’s airlift will grow 200% in 5 years, adding 1,400 aircraft to the existing 771. This portends sustainable RevPARs for Hospitality. " He added, “ 34% of India is in its cities, which will be 50% by 2047. Per capita, $2,600 will reach $18,000 by then. These macros of uprooted urbanisation and increased income will boost pilgrimage and leisure breaks. .” And that’s not all: "Elections in 40 countries this year will unlock business expansion CapEx. This will spur inbound travel, and yield strong MICE demand FY27 onwards." Exciting times ahead for India NEXT in hospitality and tourism! #Hospitality #MICE #tourism
