Nakshatra as Diwali arrives, bringing with it the light of prosperity and joy, investors like you and I have a unique opportunity to harness this auspicious occasion for a fresh financial beginning. The Diwali Muhurat trading session symbolizes more than tradition. It serves as a meaningful gateway into the new Sombat Sambat 2081, a promising year in which strategic investments can actually lay the foundation for steady growth going forward. Remember, exchanges like NBC and BSE will be holding their annual Diwali Muhurat trading session on Friday that will be November 1st from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the evening. And this is where you can look to invest afresh into many stocks that can actually give you better returns going forward. So I'm going to be highlighting some of the stocks right there. ICSI Direct has bet big on NCC. The buying range for the stock is 275 to 300 and they have put a potential target upside. 40%, that's ��400 on this stock. This is the first stock that you can look at. So given the strong order book visibility, the improving balance sheet strength, they believe this talk is poised for healthy growth going forward. They also value NCC at 400 at an 18 times FY20 6 PE. Now apart from NCC, what we've also seen is that 5 paisa brokerage houses also come out with specific stock ideas for Muhurat trading session. Their first pick is State Bank of India. They have indicated a buying range of 800 to 820 rupees with the support levels of around 730 and 765 for this stock, with a potential target of 9:15 first and on the upper end 970 as well. They believe SBI being the largest public sector bank, has recently formed a strong support base at a 200 day Emma. They also believe the stock has broken past the trend line resistance level as well. Signaling renewed momentum in its price movement, they also believe the RSI oscillator on SPI now points towards an upward trend, making this a stock a favorable choice for the Diwali Muhurat trading session. They also say SBS technical setup supports a buy on dip strategy and the fundamentals also reinforce its position as a valuable stock both for the long as well as the short term investors. So this Divali, you can look at buying SPI next, they suggest. BDL or Bharat Dynamics Limited as their top choice for Muhurat trading or buying range of 1000 to 1030, a support level of about 9:50 and the potential target of almost 1300 going forward and also on the layer end about 1190. They also believe the company is a key player in India's defence sector. It also stands out with its solid technical structure. They also believe the previous breakout levels have also transformed the stock into a strong support area. And the stock is currently trading at around its weekly 50 days of an EMA, which is a notable factor. And they believe here the low trading volume during the recent correction has actually indicated limited selling pressure now and a stable price base. This setup also indicates that BDL may be well positioned for an upward move, making it a compelling option for investors looking for a strategic accumulation during the Muhurat trading session as well. So those are the two ideas from 5:00. This up next, HDFC Securities has come out with its peak within the banking space For Muhurat Trading, Karur Vaisya Bank is on their top radar. A buying range of 2:14 to 2:18 with a target price of 249 to ��269 and a stop loss of about 183 is what they suggest and potential upside over 25% on this stock. The stock price, they believe it has already found its support on the upward trend from the lows in May 2023 and June of 2024. We also believe this talk has broken out from its downward trend line on October 18th and now it signals that resumption of the primary uptrend. They also believe the weekly Stochastic Oscillator is bullish. The breakout they have seen is now on rising volumes and the stock has been forming higher highs and higher lows on the weekly charts as well and making this a stock of choice for Muhurat trading. Next we have JM Financial which has indicated from the power space Tata Power as their potential. Choice for the Muhurat trading now The company believes Tata Power shares have actually given multi week breakouts above 26265 levels recently and the stock has also witnessed some correction post the breakout as well. The stock they believe is now holding above the 200 days of simple moving average on the daily charts and the overall chart structure is pretty robust and the outperformance they believe is likely to now continue going forward. The brokerage has also set a target of 500 to 5:50. In the upper end for Tata Power currently which is hovering around 400 and 19420 odd levels right there. So those are the top five stock ideas that you can look at for Muhurat trading session on 1st November as has been indicated by the top brokerage houses of India.

I wanted to take advantage of this pre-Diwali session by investing some money into an undervalued stock that I had already invested some in. Because post-Diwali, the Indian market will enter a bull run phase.Unfortunately, the stock I wanted to invest in doesn't look good anymore. I don't think it has future. I will probably book profit and sell it post Diwali.Soo this Diwali, I will be investing in generic bluechip stocks/etfs like Nifty Bees, HDFC.
