Am I too inexperienced to post? Here's my thoughts from hesitation to action: A year ago, the thought of posting on LinkedIn seemed daunting. Like many, I battled the fear of not being good enough, especially being relatively new to the Talent Acquisition industry. The inner critic in me questioned every potential post: Was it insightful enough? Would it add value? Or worse, would it reveal too much of my inexperience? But here's the revelation I had: Being new is not a weakness; it's my strength. 🌟 Embracing my fresh perspective allows me to ask questions others might overlook, challenge the status quo, and approach problems with a unique blend of curiosity and determination. My journey is about learning in the open, sharing the ups and downs, and growing through each experience. So, I'm casting aside those doubts and making another post today. It's a leap of faith, an invitation to connect and grow together in this ever-evolving field. 🌱 Have you ever felt this way about sharing your thoughts or experiences on LinkedIn? I'd love to hear how you overcame these feelings or if you're still finding your way. Let's start a conversation about the power of beginning, no matter where we are in our professional journeys. #LinkedInJourney #OvercomingFear #NewBeginnings #TalentAcquisition #Transcom

It’s been nearly a year since I stepped away from full-time work, and I won’t lie—this journey has tested me in ways I never expected. The countless applications, interviews, and subsequent rejections could easily make one question their value. But here’s the truth I’ve learned: rejection isn’t a reflection of your worth; it’s a redirection towards something even better. During this time, I’ve taken a step back to reflect, recalibrate, and refine my skills. I’ve discovered new ways to add value and strengthen my resilience. Every ‘no’ has shaped me, not as a sign of failure, but as fuel to keep pushing forward. To anyone in the same position: this journey may be long, but it’s building you up for something greater. Trust the process, embrace the setbacks, and most importantly—never doubt your value. You are still growing, learning, and one step closer to the ‘yes’ that’s meant for you. Stay strong. Keep going. The right opportunity will find you. #resilience #growth #perseverance

Seize the Moment: There's No Perfect Time to Start ! In the pursuit of our dreams and aspirations, we often find ourselves waiting for the perfect moment to take that first step. We wait for the stars to align, for all conditions to be perfect. However, what we fail to realize is that there is no such thing as the perfect time to start. The truth is the perfect time may never come. Procrastination, fear, and self-doubt amongst others often hold us back from pursuing our goals. We tell ourselves that we'll start tomorrow, next week, or next month, believing that somehow the passage of time will make things easier. But the reality is that time waits for no one. Each passing moment is an opportunity slipping away, and the longer we delay, the further we drift from our dreams. Starting now doesn't mean having everything figured out or waiting for the perfect plan to unfold. It means embracing imperfection, learning from mistakes, and adapting along the way. It's about taking small, consistent actions that move us closer to our goals, one step at a time. There is no perfect time to start pursuing our dreams and ambitions. The perfect time is now—the present moment, where our potential meets opportunity. So let go of excuses, silence the inner critic, and take that first step today. For in the journey of life, the only time that truly matters is the time we choose to begin. #hrcommunity #interviews #resumewriting #jobseekers #humanresources #jobsearch #hiringmanagers #recruiters #seizetheday #startnow #NoPerfectTime PS: Feel free to share, repost and broadcast !

#Worklife: Good morning! Welcome to a new month. “What screws us up most in life is the picture in our head of how it’s supposed to be.” Unknown. Each one of us builds plans. We create scenarios in our head about a job interview, being hired, being accepted with open arms, etc. So many times we fail to remember there is the other side of the scenario. Disappointment happens. Over a long career it is consistently part of the menu. It is smart never to get too excited going into an opportunity. It’s important to prepare, learn all you can about the people, recent history and those who recently left the organization. Because we have an optimistic bent for those things we want to have happen, we may begin to expect a good result. Things happen. For most high quality positions, there may be several qualified candidates. The secret I have found in most searches: be myself, show them how their future will be with me by providing my past highlights, and tell them I am a problem solver. Every organization needs talent. They need people who are willing to run towards a problem, not sit still and watch others put out fires. Mostly, organizations everywhere need leaders. We see that every day. Thank you. (my opinions only.) #learn #dig #prepare #calmness.

"From 'I Need a Job' to Manager in 4 Weeks Early 2024, 12 LinkedIn members reached out, seeking help to find a job or a change. Only 6 committed to a rigorous 4-week program, designed to fast-track their careers. Initially, I developed the program for my own corporate climb. 8 years prior, my sister-in-law, seeing my success, asked for my help. Big mistake! She assumed a quick CV revamp and interview tips would do the trick. The first week was a battle against procrastination. The second, a struggle with self-doubt. Week three was the toughest. She was exhausted from daily learning, frustrated that we hadn't even touched her CV. She was furious but not with me. Her anger was with the believe that she failed already. I told her, "Remember this feeling." "This is failing to be disciplined." "This is the pain of refusing to change." Thankfully, she accepted change and persevered until the end. Two interviews later, she was a manager. The truth is success often requires losing yourself first. It's about stepping out of your comfort zone, embracing discomfort, and committing to growth. Are you ready to make that leap?" #careeradvice #personalgrowth #transformation #success #leadership
