I recently enrolled Stanford Online's "Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Program," which provided a comprehensive understanding of transitioning to renewable energy sources. Initially, to me, the concept appeared to be a buzzword, but this course substantiated it with factual evidence from Mark Jacobson. The program delves into the technical aspects of transitioning to 100% Wind-Water-Solar (WWS) energy sources, storage, and demand response at low cost. It highlights the technical and economic feasibility of transitioning to 100% WWS across all energy sectors while acknowledging the social and political challenges involved. I strongly recommend this course for anyone seeking a thorough understanding of renewable energy and its role in shaping a #sustainable future. https://lnkd.in/dWVk2xkS
