Buzzlab’s Post

Some stories stick with you, and this one is definitely one of them. Meet Shikhar Pal, this young man from Gwalior who was inspired by our hustle of what we at Buzzlab are building. He found the whole story of finding an office, looking for people, and building a business ground-up really inspiring, and thus, he reached out to us saying that he wanted to be a part of this journey. The conversation wasn’t just a typical job seeker’s conversation but a conversation in which he connected with us. He poured his heart out and told us about what really inspires him and why he really wants to join us. Sindhu and I had a chat and decided to take a bet, not on the skillset, but on him as a human being, on him as a team member, and on him as a founding member. -Thursday, we had a chat,  -Friday, we confirmed, and the next thing we knew,  -He was on a flight to Bangalore, the first time he had stepped out of Gwalior to join Buzzlab on Monday. Although I never got a chance to get clicked with him, this gem of a guy definitely deserves a special post on my page. He is an essential part of our founding team, and we feel blessed to have such people in our early days of building Buzzlab. But such instances are not just great from a team-building perspective but also push us towards being more reasonable, more practical and more accountable towards the team.
