Hey Ford and all automotive Detroit Lion fans, don’t despair. In the NFC playoff game, both teams were balling, and it was very exciting. We have no excuses, as we had a great season. Just the better team won today. Washington has a great young hungry, cool hand Luke type quarterback, a Rookie who has a bright future in the NFL.
We made too many turnovers and Washington capitalize and scored points on all of them. Even with our beat-up defense, we could’ve still won that game. Turnovers and interceptions killed us.
The most important point is that the Lions gave the Detroit Metro area something to believe in. They really bonded the state and local area. Folks of all different type of backgrounds and ethnicity were talking and engaging each other, rooting for the home team. It was beautiful, it brought the city and metro area closer together. Thanks to the Lions for giving us hope, civility and the taste of winning, sprinkled with a little humanity! So, let's go back to work next week and continue to build the world best cars! Go Lions, Go Detroit, Go Auto!
