Hi I HAVE BEEN NOTICING MANY DESIGNER DRAWINGS REQUIRING #THERMALCAMERA #AIRVOIDS REPORTING IN CONCRETE WALLS TO AVOID ; structural ( corrosion) ,fire, acaustic , waterproofing ( mould/mildew) inadequacies. HOW DO YOU MAKE SURE THAT AIR VOIDS CAN BE AVOIDED? 1. Ensure max. 10mm aggregates, min.180 mm slump concrete and #supervise each #concrete pour to ensure appropriate #vibration take place . If you are not paid for this supervision your only choice is to specify ; 2. self compacting concrete ( SCC) which avoids concrete vibrator/supervision need and YOUR LIABILITY. The reliance on the #thermalcameras DOES NOT NEGATE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A DESIGNER , YOU WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IN THE CASE OF ANY OF THE ABOVE NOTED PROBLEMS.
