However, there is a limit to how much they can bend. If the bend is too tight, the angle at which light waves hit the cladding will no longer satisfy the total internal reflection condition. Hi I HAVE BEEN NOTICING MANY DESIGNER DRAWINGS REQUIRING #THERMALCAMERA #AIRVOIDS REPORTING IN CONCRETE WALLS TO AVOID ; structural ( corrosion) ,fire, acaustic , waterproofing ( mould/mildew) inadequacies. HOW DO YOU MAKE SURE THAT AIR VOIDS CAN BE AVOIDED? 1. Ensure max. 10mm aggregates, min.180 mm slump concrete and #supervise each #concrete pour to ensure appropriate #vibration take place . If you are not paid for this supervision your only choice is to specify ; 2. self compacting concrete ( SCC) which avoids concrete vibrator/supervision need and YOUR LIABILITY. The reliance on the #thermalcameras DOES NOT NEGATE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A DESIGNER , YOU WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IN THE CASE OF ANY OF THE ABOVE NOTED PROBLEMS.
