📢 Exciting News We are thrilled to announce the introduction of the Con-Arb process within the NBCRFLI, effective immediately. This process, which aims to expedite dispute resolution, will be regulated by Rule 19 of the NBCRFLI Dispute Rules for the conduct of proceedings. The con-Arb process allows an arbitration hearing to follow immediately after conciliation providing parties with an opportunity to try to resolve the dispute. This allows for matters to be heard and determined speedily and cost-effectively #NBCRFLI #YourFrieghtPartner #disputeresolution #socialjustice

🗣 Global Class Actions Symposium 2024 | Administrators & class actions Today’s fourth panel on administrators in class actions claims was chaired by Chris Ford of Blackhawk Network, alongside speakers Steven Weisbrot of Angeion Group, Sare Brownhill of FinLegal, and David Isaac of JND Legal Administration. What is the key role of an administrator in a class action claim? What are the key differences between administrators in the UK, Europe and the US? How do administrators measure success? These are just some of the questions answered by today’s panel. And one clear agreement was made – a measurement for success (at least on the claimant’s side) is ensuring damages are awarded to those deserving of them #GCAS24
