𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵? I went fishing with the family last weekend. Let’s be clear… I’m not a fisherman. I’m just not patient enough and don’t find it particularly interesting. But my son has taken a liking to it, so we and another family hired a boat and out we went. We stopped in a few places and tested the waters… Discussions were had on what size hook to put on... Is the sinker heavy enough? Should he use a lure or bait? Should we use worms, prawns, chicken or pilchards? They’d all watched hours of YouTube tutorials on how the professionals do it. How to hook the “Big Bass”! How to catch the best fish and what gear you need. After a while, I just grabbed the spare rod, whacked a prawn tail on the hook and threw in the line. Nothing… Then I tried another prawn head, then another side of the boat and then cast in another direction…. I fluked the first fish of the day! Nothing major, (and a nasty-looking spike on it too) but it sparked some belief amongst the families that there are actually fish out there…. And as is always the way, when you hook the first one, plenty more seem to turn up! It wasn’t the equipment, the plan, the skill or the location…. Mostly a bit of luck and the fact that you had to 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵! I see this with people who first join The Zone community. When they start with us, they’ve watched 100s of hours on how it should be done. They’ve invested in coaches and mentors. They’ve purchased the right camera and microphone. They’re so ready to make this work but they’ve never throw the line in… They don’t make the offers and speak to their customers! They are commonly nervous about what will happen. Will people value my offer? Will I be able to deliver on my promises? Will I land the "big Bass"! The answer of course is only an opinion or guess…. The only way to find out is to get your line in the water. Try your approach and evaluate the results. Then load up and try again… and again… evaluating all the while.
