My EBC Recap 😅🌐 As always, the question of where to invest your time is crucial, especially when it comes to Web3 events. To be honest, I'm not always the biggest fan of events. But then again I’m pleasantly surprised by all the passionate people I meet, who share the same excitement for #innovation, Web3 and blockchain technology. A mix of corporates, VCs, individuals, #startups and governments makes these events a good place to meet people and build connections. During the European Blockchain Convention, we had the opportunity to pitch Klayr Labs at the EBC startup pitching competition in front of a high quality jury and dynamic startup audience. It was great to stand alongside innovative solutions and showcase what we’ve been building so far. Looking forward to seeing the progress of the other participants in our batch! Plus, Barcelona is a stunning city. Arriving a day early gave me the chance to explore some of the city (including a quick stop at La Sagrada Familia) while doing a couple of calls along the day 🌍 We also got the opportunity to connect with the Dutch ecosystem while being abroad. Thanks for organising and hosting the Bitvavo & BCNL Foundation meetup in Barcelona. It has been a refreshing experience to catch up with the Dutch network in a very nice and cosy place. Here are my most important take away: 👉 Privacy & ZK -> already very possible to implement and definitely use cases to apply it to. They´re technical, but o so important for future ease of use and onboarding Web2 users. 👉 #Interoperability: it is important to have standards within the industry that people will adhere to. 👉 Clear communication: Where a lot of times the web3 folks can be quite technical, a person like Anthony Day 🕛 is a refreshing addition to a panel explaining technical concepts in a super clear manner. 👉 Events are always worth it if you meet new interesting people and have in-depth interesting conversations about personal lifes, dreams, web3 and technological adoption. This excited me again for future events and keep building relationships 🙌 But now it’s time to get back to building! 🚀 We’re currently focused on: ➡️ Our first #hackathon next month  ➡️ Onboarding technical ambassadors from around the world ➡️ Supporting developers working on their first blockchain applications with our SDK See you next year! 👋 And follow Klayr Labs for more :)

Reflecting on the incredible experience at #CVSummit 🙌, where I had the chance to speak on the panel alongside Julian La Picque from Chiliz ⚽, it’s inspiring to see how much we’ve achieved in the Web3-based consumer applications space. It was a pleasure to showcase how Blocksport tackles the UX/UI challenges of Web3 🔗 by focusing on simplicity and accessibility. In our view, the application that brings 1 billion users into Web3 🌐 will need to offer a seamless and frictionless user experience, solving real-world problems or delivering tangible value that existing Web2 applications cannot provide 🚀 This year’s summit was particularly special ✨, as it celebrated 10 years of Ethereum 🎉 – a milestone that has driven innovation and new possibilities in the blockchain ecosystem 🔥. The event was an incredible journey of creativity, collaboration, and cutting-edge technology. 🔍 Event Highlights: Challenges & Competitions: We tackled real-world problems and developed innovative NFT solutions. The competition was intense, and the creativity on display was truly inspiring. Workshops & Mentorship: The hands-on workshops and insightful sessions by industry experts were invaluable. I gained deep insights into blockchain technology, smart contracts, and the diverse applications of NFTs. Networking: Connecting with like-minded individuals, industry leaders, and potential collaborators was a highlight. The hackathon fostered an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing. Project Showcase: Presenting our project to a panel of esteemed judges was both nerve-wracking and rewarding. Building my start up Uni-Fy, in the Web3 space has been a journey of relentless innovation, pivots and learning. We have been navigating the complexities of decentralized ecosystems, riding the waves of crypto and bearing the brunt of bear markets to empowering businesses with seamless web3 augmentation, community building and secure transactions. Looking back I wish I had documented more of it via social media but when you are reading from a map no one else can see, that leads to a location only you can see, it can be difficult to have the confidence to share things publicly however small the audience. That changes today... In Web3, it's about lowering barriers, fostering trust, and building tools that let others thrive.
