A few of the London staff visited our roastery last week. It’s always worth the trip. Partly because of where it is - in Meltham, Yorkshire. You’ll get a proper friendly welcome (it’s Yorkshire, after all) and always learn something new. We took a visitor to see Grumpy Mule being roasted and packed up. Arran Stein, our Coffee Manager, shared stories of how Grumpy Mule has been part of huge social-impact projects in Colombia and Peru. The difference it’s making is impressive. Every batch of coffee gets serious attention. It’s taste tested not once, but four times. Each batch is slow-roasted to bring out the best flavours from the beans. The roast is then colour-checked to make sure it’s spot-on every time. If your business needs great coffee, come and see for yourself. We’ll get the coffee on and show you around. Happy National Coffee Day…Boxing Day??! (Basically yesterday was National Coffee Day, but I didn’t get the memo - I was mildly hungover attempting to get back to Norwich from London, via the darkest depths of Essex, but that’s another story…) I am pretty much in love with coffee. I could never give it up. Alcohol, yes. Coffee. No. I don’t want to think about a life without coffee. And I mean, actual coffee (if ever somebody offers me a cup of freeze dried soil water, I politely decline) And as it’s a Monday, I think we should do a bit of #mondaymanifestation, don’t you? It’s yukky and rainy outside and we all need a bit of positivity ✨ So, as this delicious and highly-caffeinated beverage plays such a huge part in my life, naturally I also enjoy writing about it. And there are so many outstanding coffee producers and companies who would be absolute #dreamclients (I realise I’m throwing a lot of silly hashtags around this morning; it’s Monday, it’s allowed…) I’d just like to pay homage to a few - Kofra Coffee Roasters and Natural Wines, Dark Arts Coffee, Perky Blenders Coffee Roasters, Exhale Healthy Coffee, Blue Bear Coffee Co., Pact Coffee, North Star Coffee Roasters and Girls Who Grind Coffee ☕️ Thanks for everything you do for my energy levels and for my tastebuds. I salute you. #copywriter #freelance #coffee ——————————————— Do you need my help illuminating your business and increasing your product sales with all the right words? Then, let’s glow! 🌝 Pop me a DM or an email and we can have a chat. Holly 💚

Ever wonder how coffee became the beloved drink it is today? It all started in the 15th century, when coffeehouses, or 'qahveh khaneh,' first appeared in the Middle East. These spots quickly became social hubs, spreading across the Ottoman Empire and then into Europe. By the 17th century, coffeehouses were booming in cities like London and Paris, known for lively conversations, music, and sometimes even political debates. Today, coffee has woven itself into cultures around the world, connecting people over cups of warmth and conversation. Curious to know more about this incredible journey? Let’s take a sip through history! #coffee #coffeeshop #coffeewebsite #coffeeonline

Imagine going to a trade show about tractors and being served coffee that is better than any coffee you have had before. Or rocking up to a wedding in a field and being served coffee that is as good as your favourite local cafe. In this episode we discuss: - Providing great work for baristas - fun, quality coffee - Resilience - the essential trait of an events coordinator - Pricing events - and why events are not about making the best espresso in the world - Recruiting baristas and skillset of an events barista - The menu at events and much more. Coffee shops and work — a match made in heaven? To my fellow caffeine dependents, a cup of coffee really jolts you into action right? Not a cappuccino, but an Americano or an espresso. A lot of us may find busy environments with constant distractions pretty hard to work, but try that with a cup of coffee at a cafe, whether busy or not, a decent amount of work can be get done. And that, my friends, is why having a cup of coffee at a cafe focuses more on experience. In fact, the funny part is, according to research, with a knowledge that some brand’s coffee beans may taste better, one may end up spending time at a shop giving them a warm, ambient atmosphere to sip, work and talk. #coffee #strategy #advertising

If you can offer something that's better than the other options, and do it with passion, you've got something special. 👉One of my favorite things about Paris is the charming outdoor cafes, scattered around the different neighborhoods. 👉 There are so many options, and each cafe has its own specialty and personality. 👉 Today after walking all day, sightseeing with my daughter, a quiet cafe caught my eye. I was in serious need of coffee. ☕ 👉 The cafe wasn't fancy. And the seats weren't that comfortable. But I was on a quest for a good, quality coffee. It seemed simple and I smelled the roasted coffee beans from the street. 👉The hand written menu had minimal options -- a few premium Italian foods. And lattes. Sometimes less is more. 🤗 👉 With courteous service from the owner, I was served one of the best lattes I've had in a long time. It was perfectly roasted, just the right temperature and the right amount of foam. 💯 👉 Two elderly women sat down outside in the picnic-style chairs. They were clearly locals, and regulars, and they came for the lattes. 🧑🦳🧑🦳 🫶 If you do something really well, you can have a winning product and brand, and a loyal following. ☕ 🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃 Even with all the cafes in Paris, I might go back to my new favorite one this week. 😃 💙 What do you do really well? What's your specialty? #One10 #incentivetravel #paristravel #incentiverecognition #globalrewards
