Last week, our International Affairs and Trade team proudly supported 12 California small business owners on their journey to the ReBuild Ukraine trade mission. This important event offered our businesses opportunities to showcase their innovative products in construction and energy, forge new partnerships, and explore growth through strategic matchmaking sessions. A special thank you to Accenture for opening their Warsaw offices and hosting the entire USA delegation to ReBuild for briefings and networking events. As California continues to lead in sustainable business solutions, it was inspiring to see our small businesses bring their expertise to the global stage and support critical Ukrainian rebuilding efforts. Their dedication and entrepreneurial spirit highlight the impact of our state’s small business community on the global stage. And we look forward to seeing how these partnerships and collaborations develop, as California’s commitment to international trade and Ukrainian reconstruction only grows stronger. #USA4RebuildUkraine #ReBuildUkraine #CaliforniaSmallBusiness cc: AEQUOR, Inc. , Astranis Space Technologies, Bardex® Corporation, Energy Cloud Inc., ePAVE, LLC, Metro City Builders, Precision Labs Calibration, Radiant, RedoxBlox, Skydio, Stayner Architects, Sujen International LLC

A starting point to facilitate a smooth, sustainable, transparent and cooperative international use of Space Setting the bases for a pacific and fruitful new era of colonization of the solar system.
🇮🇹 First Italian Law on Space Economy 🌌 A Historic Step 🚀 The Council of Ministers has approved Italy's first comprehensive law on Space, marking a historic step for the country's Space Economy. This law regulates private access to space, offering significant opportunities in the industrial sector with a clear and structured regulatory framework. Regulation and Opportunities 📜 The law mandates authorizations for foreign and national operators intending to conduct space activities from Italian territory or abroad. The Italian Space Agency (ASI) will oversee the supervision and registration of objects launched into space. Support and Innovation 🌟 A Space Economy Fund has been established to promote space activities and technologies. A National Plan for Space Economy is also planned, guiding public and private investments for the next five years. Safety and Responsibility 🛡️ The law addresses the management of space incidents, requiring insurance contracts with coverage up to 100 million euros. It also includes special regulations to facilitate SMEs and startups' access to public contracts. Future Prospects 🌍 This law is a milestone for Italy, positioning it as a leader in the Space Economy and providing a regulatory framework that fosters innovation and market growth. #SpaceEconomyMaster #SpaceEconomy #NewSpace #NewSpaceEconomy #SpaceEconomyInstitute #Space

This week I joined I-Com, Institute for Competitiveness and many experts to speak about #competitiveness in Europe at this key juncture. My message remains more relevant than ever - #Europe can't turn inward or #protectionist, we need to be more welcoming to partners, more ambitious to grow together, and we need to stop reacting to every problem or small complaint with massive new #legislation. We still can't and won't regulate #success. Otherwise we will remain #BlessedWithLess. How can European companies compete if they only have access to second best? I-Com is part of the fascinating https://lnkd.in/ekeYVMNY Prometheus network and they too are pushing for many ideas to help Europe move forwards, not backwards. It's only together, and by embracing policies that keep us open and #competitive that Europe can give its best and be its best. NO to backwards policies on #digital, #telecoms, #tech and #competition. YES to #investment and #innovation - and YES that depends on #international partners and #companies. That's how we win together. #CCIAeurope CCIA Europe #digitalEU #competition #telecoms Stefano da Empoli
