great option for difficult installation areas.
🔘 The annular space design of Primus Line® 🔘 Primus Line® Rehab is a loose-fit process for trenchless pipe rehabilitation. This means that an annular space (= void) remains between the inserted liner and the existing pipe. Due to its multi-layer Kevlar-reinforced structure, the Primus Liner functions like a new pipe in the existing pipe and ✅ takes the complete internal operating pressure, ✅ facilitates the calculation of the remaining service life of the old pipe and ✅ has a service life of at least 50 years The Primus Line developers deliberately opted for this design due to the advantages during installation and the extended utilisation possibilities of the pressurised pipeline to be renewed. Find out more soon! #TrenchlessRehabilitation #NoDig

30th anniversary of Hünnebeck Poland Three decades of partnership, passion and trust Infrastructure facilities are almost always a considerable challenge. It was no different in the case of the construction of the Kock and Wola Skromowska Bypass within the S19 road, implemented by STRABAG Polska Sp. z o.o. between 2009 and 2012. As part of this project, we designed and supplied formwork for the erection of six viaducts and two bridges. The support scaffolding under the viaducts was made from EUROPLUSnew props and ID15new, and the superstructures were made using the SG system. The real challenge was the 200-metre bridge 🌉 over the River Wieprz. For its implementation, we designed three different solutions, working in different sections of the bridge. As with the viaducts, support scaffolding consisting of ID15new towers with the SG system was ideal. Part of the structure was also erected using the INFRA-KIT system. Another interesting feature: Steel girder scaffolding from the H33 system - a modular system well suited to long-span bridge construction - was used to support the section of the bridge crossing the river. The H33 girders rested on HEB400 beams supported on load-bearing frame props. The PROTECTO® system took care of edge protection. #moresafety #moreproductivity #AtWorkForYou #Hünnebeck

🌉 𝗥𝗘𝗛𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗕𝗢𝗖𝗔 𝗗𝗘𝗟 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗢, 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗧 𝗜𝗡 1950 🌉 After the completion of the construction of the new Boca del Cerro bridge, the work of the Rehabilitation of the impressive 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗼𝗰𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼 completed in 1950, is progressing. In its day, 5 arches like this one were built in the world. IDEAM (now TYLin) made the rehabilitation project and is now doing the technical assistance during the execution for Mota-Engil México-Engil Mexico. The original bridge, with a main span of 150 m, was designed in 1948 to accommodate road and rail traffic. The railway line had not been in service for several years and has been moved to the new bridge, also designed by IDEAM (now TYLin), to allow the passage of the Mayan train. In the rehabilitation project, the railway track of the original bridge was replaced by a side area intended for pedestrian and cyclist traffic. Currently, the concrete structure of the access openings has been rehabilitated, the old railway track has been removed and work is underway on the execution of the slab of the new pedestrian area. Simultaneously, repair, reinforcement and painting work will begin on the partially damaged and corroded sections of the steel structure of the beautiful arch bridge, which is almost 75 years old, to prolong its service life in an outstanding natural environment. #TYLinEuropeLATAM #StructuralEngineering #Bridges #Rehabilitation

Building Stonehenge Is the mystery of Stonehenge that it’s an incomplete highway bridge? A quick look at the pilar-like caps topping columns adjacent to I-35 just south of the I-410 interchange might make you wonder. Construction of the I-35 structures is not as enigmatic as that of Stonehenge, but it’s still amazing. In the video, a crane sets a 75,000-pound cap on two 35-foot-tall bridge columns at night, perfectly aligning the holes in the cap with the steel bars in the top of the column. These are the first structures of their kind on the first phase of I-35 Northeast Expansion (NEX) South.

Absolutely Fascinated by the Burj Khalifa... The foundation of the world's tallest building relies on a pile-supported structure. A total of 192 piles, each around 1.5 meters in diameter, were driven deep into the ground to bear the immense weight of the skyscraper. These piles, made from high-strength reinforced concrete, extend to depths exceeding 50 meters. To ensure the building's stability and resist the tremendous vertical and lateral forces, a massive concrete raft foundation was constructed. This foundation covers an area of approximately 8,000 square meters and has a thickness of about 3.7 meters. Furthermore, the foundation features a 'buttressed core' system. This system includes a reinforced concrete core at the center of the tower, acting as a backbone to provide additional support against wind and seismic forces. The core is designed to taper as the building rises, optimizing space and structural efficiency especially in a region susceptible to high winds and seismic activity. For major cities like New York, the struggle to attain greater environmental responsibility is real, with many headwinds pushing back on efforts of all kinds. But when an innovator like this one finds sustainability in ways many of us have never even thought of, we start running out of excuses not to give it a try. PEX piping could make a big difference for #NYC #majorbuildings
414 Light Street is the tallest residential tower in Maryland, consisting of 44 stories and 394 units. The project has also been awarded LEED® Silver certification for design strategies that demonstrate superior environmental responsibility. Developer Questar relied on an Uponor PEX-a piping system for the domestic water system because it contributed to important sustainability goals of the project while offering unmatched installation ease and lasting quality. Because PEX-a pipe resists corrosion, pitting, and scale buildup, it offers longer service life and better system performance in buildings. Plus, Uponor ProPEX® connections are fast and easy for trades to learn and master, helping address skilled labor challenges.
