Protecting your home and belongings starts with understanding your home insurance coverage! 🏡 Let's break it down: 🔍 Actual Cash Value (ACV): This coverage considers depreciation, meaning you may receive less money for replacing items. 💡 Replacement Cost Coverage: Get the full cost of replacing items without depreciation, offering peace of mind and no out-of-pocket surprises. When choosing your policy, weigh the pros and cons of each coverage type. Need help navigating? Drop your questions below! Our team is here to guide you to the right protection. For #InternationalMuseumDay we wanted to talk a little bit about insuring collections and valuable items on your home insurance. If you have a high-value collector’s item or artifact, in most cases, you can get that item/collection specially covered through your property insurance. This is called “scheduling” on your insurance. Scheduling items can do two things: ✔️ Provide you full financial protection for that asset ✔️ Get a lower deductible for that item (while not necessarily impacting your claims-free status) If you have any high-value items you’d like to schedule on your property insurance you’ll need a copy of the bill of sale, or an appraisal. If you have your own little home museum, we'd love to help you get the coverage you're looking for. Call 1-855-475-0959 for a free quote. #MuseumDay #Collections #Fossil
