This fall I completed the "Governance for a Sustainable Future" course at Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). The course focused on governance principles and frameworks. If you're an ESG lawyer involved in governance or a sustainability professional who wants to take a deep dive on corporate governance philosophy and how to better integrate sustainability into corporate governance-- this course is for you. Highly recommend it. We did a thorough review of emerging theories of governance, frameworks for implementing good corporate governance practices, and how to integrate sustainability into a company's governance framework effectively. The materials were interesting and top notch. The assignments and discussion groups were practical and useful. There were ample opportunities for deep learning, even for people who have spent a great deal of time in this space already, and it certainly advanced my thinking on these issues as a practitioner and as a sustainable governance superfan and nerd. https://lnkd.in/eERxGs9F Given a busy work schedule, I took the course at night and on the weekends, but NVIDIA reimbursed me for it. Very grateful for the opportunity and appreciate that NVIDIA supports professional development by providing readily available funds for learning. 💚
