When will it STOP RAINING! With the ground water logged, farmers are struggling to travel on their land. A farmer from West Sussex, who work low lying land asked if the drones could be used to apply liquid fertiliser. The answer was yes but with the standing water on his fields, it wouldn't be suitable to apply fertiliser for a few days, or there would be a risk of run off. So we did a demo using water, which proved the point nicely. With the big XAG P100 Pro drone, this 3 hectare field would take 40 minutes to treat at an application rate of 100 litres per hectare. Not a bad option when the alternative is to do nothing or risk getting stuck and causing plenty of crop damage.
