Ever feel like your social media feed is reading your mind? . . So, today, I will try to explain the creature known as the social media algorithm. There's a reason for that! Social media algorithms are complex systems that work behind the scenes, filtering vast content to show you what they think you'll find most interesting. At its core, social media algorithms are like the gatekeepers of the digital realm. But, what is their mission? Content filtering. They analyze our interactions, preferences, and behaviors to determine what content most likely captures our attention. But are algorithms a friend or foe? But fear not, for these algorithms are not solely villains in our digital saga. For users, they offer a boon: personalized content tailored to our interests and desires. And for businesses, ah, here lies the true treasure! Social media algorithms provide a pathway to targeted reach and engagement. So, the question becomes: How do YOU feel algorithms impact your social media experience? Share your thoughts in the comments! #SocialMedia #AlgorithmInsights #DigitalAdventure #thesociallab

I often see the same financial advisers sharing content on social media. ⤵️ The ones who consistently show up, tell stories, put themselves out there, comment on others' posts, and share their opinions are winning. They’re grabbing people’s attention, and that’s what matters. These advisers ensure that when a potential client needs financial advice, or when a friend or family member asks for support, they remember seeing their posts. They come across as real human beings, perhaps with shared interests, but more importantly, they’re likable. Because at the end of the day, people buy from people. If you’re looking for a sign to start posting on social media. This is it. #socialmedia #smm #socialmediamarketing #personalbrand #personalbranding P.s. This post was created using SISOMA ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ 🙋🏻♂️ Hi, I’m Mark and my team & I have created a tool called SISOMA that can help help you to get more clients using social media. The rules for social media success keep morphing like sand slipping through our fingers. These days getting a first page result from a #Google search, even using Google Ad Words, has become harder and more challenging. Whether you are trying to get to your #bestclients and potential clients, or perhaps you are just trying to get more hits for your website, well, obtaining strong results has become increasingly challenging and frustrating. This is why we have switched to a new process for social media success which uses AI, not to write content, but to analyze and target who is reading our posts. This allows continuous monitoring until we achieve each client’s desired results. In the immortal words of Bob Dylan, the times they are a changing! Please share your social media frustrations or successes so we can all learn together. Anabella Bonfa Gary Johnson Susan Gold Steven Terusaki #socialmediasuccess #newfrontier #change

The algorithm doesn't care!! 😪 𝐔𝐧𝐩𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: there's no such thing as getting on the algorithms good side. Look, so many people think that if you don't get an average of 100k+ views, 10k+ likes and 500 comments on every post, that your performance sucks and the algorithm hates you. That's literally the furthest thing from the truth Social media algorithms only exist to create a better user experience, showing people similar content to what they've already been engaging with That's literally IT There's no secret Instagram or LinkedIn team plotting the demise of your business And ultimately, there's no such thing as getting on the algorithms 'good side' either! You either create good content that resonates with your audience, or you don't Emphasis on the words 'YOUR audience, because remember, they're the ones who really matter Since those are the followers, like-rs and commenters who are actually going to become customers! Moral of the story, the algorithm doesn't care and neither should you really! 🆚 Follow for more.

Greetings... How Are You Adapting to Social Media Algorithm Changes? Let’s be real—social media algorithms can feel like moving targets. Just when you think you’ve cracked the code, a new update drops, and it’s back to the drawing board. Here’s how I’m keeping up: 1️⃣ Focus on what matters: Creating content that actually helps or entertains people. The algorithms reward value, so I make that my priority. 2️⃣ Spread my wings: No more putting all my eggs in one basket. Testing different platforms helps me stay ahead of the curve. 3️⃣ Engage, don’t just post: Platforms want conversations, not just broadcasts. Real engagement builds reach. 4️⃣ Ride the video wave: Short-form video is king—so I’m leaning into it hard. 5️⃣ Stay curious: I’m always watching trends and tweaking my approach based on what’s working now. It’s a lot, but it’s all part of the game. How are you tackling these changes? Let’s chat below!

2024 is warping up and your social media game needs this wake-up call We all know social media builds brands. But let's get real about something. Here's what actually works (tested & proven): 1.Choose platforms like you choose friends. • Do less, but do it better • Master one before chasing the next • Not every platform deserves your energy. 2.Set real goals for 2025 • What are you trying to do? • Take the "I want to go viral" dream • What does "success" mean to you? 3. Watch the right numbers • Forget vanity metrics • Keep it stupid simple • Focus on numbers that drive growth 4.Use AI (but make it human) • Save time, not soul • Work smart, not hard • Let it inspire, not replace In 2025, a simple plan you follow beats a perfect plan you don't. Drop a🌻 if you're ready to level up your social media game in 2025. P.S. If this helped, follow me for more no-fluff social media tips that work.

Do you want to be a rockstar or a rocket scientist? We have lived with social media now for a reasonable amount of time. What started like a great idea to connect with people who otherwise would have been lost to time or distance became a something else. A marketplace. For a while it was hard to understand and differenciate what was a friend’s recommendation, and what was an advert. To an extent, it still is; and to make things worse, the network got polluted. Very polluted. The current state online communications reminds me of a graffiti covered wall, where advertising billboards, flyers for a lost cat and a snake oil seller live together happily (and, if you look close enough, the adult industry and several shades of crime are joining the cacophony). It worries me though that within that context, the prevalent narrative (here, there, everywhere) isn’t about less is more, but a sound ‘more is more’. Most self styled social media experts insist on having ‘a voice’ on X (or Y or Z, pun intended) even before you have a product, a service or even an idea. Which again is one more poster on top of another, competing for the attention span of busy people. And here is where my question comes: is it a rock star or a rocket engineer? Do we want to sing our praises, or actually do things worthy of being sung? The words of Cicero’s ”Res ipsa loquitur” may sound pretentious in Latin, but actions do speak for themselves. Consider how many people have written about the men landing on the moon versus LinkedIn influencers selling their online course on how to build an audience. I think, should I need to pick a side, I know which one I’d go for.
