PROJECTS WORLDWIDE 🌍 📍Paestum, Scigliati plant 👉The initial request concerned the expansion and modernisation of the existing water network infrastructure and the optimisation of distribution systems. The Paestum Land Reclamation Consortium is actively engaged in protecting, managing and preserving water, a fundamental resource for the life and development of the entire community. The partnership between the Consortium and Caprari, for the implementation of the work at the Scigliati plant, proved crucial in several areas, including the design and implementation of reliable, high-performance solutions. 📌Caprari contributed to the project by providing: - 5 customised vertical lineshaft units delivering 700 l/sec with a pressure of 100m. The vertical units are equipped with 850kW, 6-pole motors are then regulated in inverter operation, thereby ensuring continuity of operation and energy savings. ➡️In this way we were able to increase the plant’s flow rate by more than 50%. Thanks to these actions, we have improved the water availability for Scigliati and the surrounding areas. Construction began in October 2023 and is moving forward steadily. One of the key challenges has been addressing encroachments within road reserves.
