Canada has committed to the 95-95-95 targets to end the HIV epidemic, but achieving this goal requires a focus on proven strategies—like U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable). When people living with HIV are on effective treatment and achieve an undetectable viral load, they cannot transmit HIV to their sexual partners. U=U is not just about stopping transmission; it also reduces stigma, promotes testing, and ensures people living with HIV feel supported to access and stay on treatment. By championing U=U, we can help Canada reach: ✅ 95% of people living with HIV diagnosed ✅ 95% of those diagnosed on treatment ✅ 95% of those on treatment achieving viral suppression Let’s amplify U=U, support those living with HIV, and work together to end the epidemic. #UequalsU #HIV #EndHIV #95-95-95 #HIVTreatment #HIVPrevention #HIVAwareness #StopStigma #PublicHealth #HealthEquity

Timely data review and action can mean the difference between a baby being born with HIV, or without. It’s not enough simply to collect HIV data. It needs to be accurate and analysed properly. In Honduras, USAID is using HIV data to improve the public health response and ultimately improve patient health. One of the key ways of doing so? The Palladium-implemented Data.FI Project's 'situation rooms' for conducting data reviews. Read more: https://ow.ly/7NCn50QZoms #PublicHealth | #USAID | #DataAnalysis | #HIVPrevention

According to The Lancet HIV report of 2024, Pakistan's HIV prevalence is rising, disproportionately affecting marginalized populations. Factors include flawed preventive strategies, stigma, reliance on external funding, NGOs' disproportionate role, and flawed accountability perceptions. The stigma and delayed diagnosis in marginalized communities contribute to the strategy's failure. Controlling HIV requires addressing high-risk behaviors, implementing preventive measures, promoting health-seeking behaviors, and integrating services into general health systems. #WorldAIDSDay #SpreadAwareness #Educate #Healthcare
