🌟 How would you describe huapii in three words? 🌟
In a recent interview, BBC's team perfectly captured what huapii is all about: connection, innovation, and development-oriented. These words sum up the essence of our platform, and it was an absolute pleasure hearing them directly from such a forward-thinking customer.
This project was special to me, as it was one of my very first implementations. I had the privilege of working closely with Renée Marien and Helga Van Itterbeeck from BBC, and I can’t speak highly enough of their approach. They were not only great collaborators—friendly and clear about their goals—but they also took real initiative, leading with a proactive mindset that made the entire process smooth and efficient.
Their strong culture of ownership and teamwork was a perfect match for what huapii is all about. 🌱💡

(German) “It’s Best That I Quit” - An article by Grandmaster Taejoon Lee in the June 2024 Issue of Budo International:
“However, this encouragement must be balanced with the recognition that true growth and resolution stem from deep self-reflection and inquiry. It’s essential to prioritize self-discovery and introspection as the initial steps towards problem-solving, rather than relying solely on external solutions. The motivation for learning and personal development should underpin every endeavor, surpassing mere task completion as the ultimate goal.
In fostering such an environment, individuals are empowered to take ownership of their challenges and growth, leveraging external support as a supplement to their own efforts rather than a substitute for personal accountability. This approach not only develops resilience but also instills a profound sense of agency and self-mastery in navigating life’s complexities.”

Our Answer: "Working on a group project, our team faced a critical decision when our initial concept proved unfeasible close to the deadline. I took the lead in facilitating a team meeting to openly discuss our options, weighing the pros and cons of continuing versus pivoting. Despite our attachment to the original idea, we prioritized project success and collectively decided to pivot our strategy. This involved reallocating resources, adjusting timelines, and refocusing efforts on a more viable solution. Emphasizing clear communication and consensus-building throughout the process, I took ownership of implementing changes and motivating the team. While challenging, the decision taught us valuable lessons in adaptability, resilience, and effective decision-making under pressure. It reinforced the importance of teamwork and collaboration in overcoming obstacles and achieving success."
For Runaya, people lie at the heart of what we envision, execute, and accomplish. To us, diversity and inclusion are values to be put into action for growth that truly gives back.
Thus, we strive to not only create a culture where everyone is respected and has the opportunity to truly rise, but also foster an environment where every potential is nurtured and incubated to truly scale the pinnacle of success and progress. Our policies are designed to empower, and our processes are pivoted to enable.
And this is very clearly reflected in the way we recruit, mentor, and map the individual growth journey of every Runayan, ensuring that their personal goals do not get subsumed by the broader vision. To us, being people-centric is all about creating an impact across communities where everyone can feel proud of who they are, and that’s the crux of what we want to truly realize.
