Thanks The Austin Chronicle for the write-up on Canworks and specifically for featuring the hardest working guy in the biz, Garrett Holmes. Canworks wouldn't be what it is without him! Cheers!

Two cool things about this. First, I have read the The Austin Chronicle religiously since my days at UT, so always cool to get a write-up in a publication you actually read. Second, Garrett Holmes getting some love. Garrett embodies everything that makes Canworks great. Namely, hard work and giving a shit. Garrett Holmes came to us from a completely different industry and basically just wanted to make something tangible. He gave up a higher paying career to start fresh as a Canworks operator. In a couple of short years he now runs the show as our Head of Ops. To go even deeper though, we are an organization made up of folks that mostly came from other industries. Ryan and I were corporate guys (now recovering corporate guys) with no printing or beverage experience whatsoever. Most of our in-house Techs and Operators had never worked with anything beyond an office printer. Zero folks had experience printing on cylindrical objects. In three short years, we are now running three plants, in three states, 24 hours/day. This year alone we have printed over 110,000,000 cans....with two months to go! This merry team of misfits we call Canworks is built on two things: hard work and figuring things out. No one is a better example of what you can achieve by just doing those two things than Garrett Holmes , and we couldn't be more proud for him to represent our team!

Book-Of-One is mentioned three times during this short interview: you can receive your paper book produced in one copy for you only, in 24 hours after you ordered it, in your home post box. Why this is revolutionary: it enables Fair Use exception from copyright limitations, i.e. to copy and share PERSON-TO-PERSON any world-dispersed book, FOR FREE (in countries with Public Lending Right law), when a needed book is absent in your local/National library. Check the prototype of our service, for up- & downloading your book copy (with author royalty paid, included in FUTURE LIBRARY fee 1€/12€ for eBook/paper book access at home), to & from the world biggest Digital Library, @Internet Archive #IndiviDUALbooks (OpenEuropeBooks, œBœks™): books.upcode.net. In architecture and engineering, precision is non-negotiable. Understanding Wide Format page size standards is key: Precision Blueprints: Accurate scaling ensures flawless communication and construction. Efficient Collaboration: Standardized sizes streamline teamwork, reducing errors and delays. Regulatory Compliance: Meeting codes and regulations is smoother with correctly sized plans. Cost Efficiency: Avoid waste and reprints by getting dimensions right the first time. Professional Presentation: Standard sizes enhance professionalism in presentations and portfolios.
