On August 21, Dr. Ma Jun, Chairman of the Capacity-building Alliance of Sustainable Investment (CASI), met with Ms. Nan Li Collins 李楠 , the Director of Investment and Enterprise at UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in CASI's Hong Kong office. Their discussion focused on opportunities for collaboration in the field of green and sustainable investment capacity building. Dr. Ma and Ms. Li explored areas of cooperation, including UNCTAD's support for CASI's upcoming initiatives in Africa and Central Asia. also covered topics such as origination of bankable green projects, green tourism in developing countries, and the role of green technologies. Dr. Ma emphasized the importance of partnership between UN agencies and private sector financial institutions for mobilizing sustainable investment in EMDEs, which is a focus of CASI's work. #SustainableInvestment #GreenInvesting #CapacityBuilding #meeting #financial

In the context of EU accession and the negotiation process, FIA members met today with Mr Iulian Groza, CEO, Institute for European Policy and Reform (IPRE), and Mr Adrian Lupușor, CEO, Expert-Group. Among the topics of interest were the next steps to be taken both by the authorities and the business, the impact on the entrepreneurs, as well as the identification of common initiatives and topics to be promoted in this process.
