5dA monitoring instrument capturing repeated acquisitions of this detail across the waterway, would have highlighted the current eddies and anomalies of an area in channel -- if the channel map was overlain, and perhaps noted the change in area available for ship of XX- draft to continue to travel there ..... We are still stuck in the forensic ... where applying the limits of the sensor proactively could make a world of difference ....
